Later in the barracks, a voice called out to him, it was faint but it echoed in his mind, "Dwell not in the past... Join me in the future..."
Turning to look around the room an odd reflection caught his eyes as they passed the mirror. Startled initially by the tiger in his looking glass, a deep curiosity overtook fear as he took the strangers paw and was pulled from his own war torn time to a new future in the modern world.
