I thought that the name "Momma's Kitchen" would suit the 50's diner style, that's an era I've always found fascinating and wanting to portray a scene it it. Enjoy !

I'm one of those people who was REALLY Tickled by movies like Pleasantville and still watches old shows like The Dick Van Dyke Show and others. I think I favor the 40's more then the 50's, but I still love both!
Mostly thanks to Blacksad I could get a broader view of this interesting era, how I wish to enter a diner worthy of the name (to be honest I couldn't figure out if gargoyles were used as decoration in diner's if that's what you mean ahaha)...

I agree with you about the purity of the era. And It's wonderful to see such a well done piece with furs in it who aren't engaged in deep sexual encounters. I think lately I've gotten a bit overwhelmed with the constant 'porn, porn, porn!' mantra of the majority of the furry community, and this is amazingly refreshing. I love it! It's beautiful, it's well done, it reflects the era perfectly, and it's a fantastic glimpse into a retro past in a different universe that is tastefully done.
I wish all restaurants were like that, inviting and warm.
