well I've been artistic for a good time so I figured since there really is no useful "gradient" tool thats intuitive enough I'd just create the gradients. You can make custom colors and such, but the trick it to have the colors for the gradients you want next to the drawing all lined up and orderly, then all you have to do is use the dropper tool to pick up the colors you want instantly

Well I can draw but I feel that quality wise its easier to make something digitally that is presentable online to any community, but that's just me.
Also doesn't require a lot of tools and makes erasing that much easier ;D

i admit that you have a good point about the eraser because i used it alot with drawing my avatar :D but oh well whatever suits you best i guess. =)
