Sa'n'sriel Læree'ahna - Digital Painting
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Finished this digitally painted and updated portrait of YN2 Felix Canberra's sweetheart, Sa'n'sriel Lære'ahna who I first drew back in 2014. Now that they're officially married (in book #2, "The Heart of Élendor"), she's now known as Læree'ahn. The text with translation is the traditional greeting among Élendorians -- given that they're strongly empathic, they sense your presence as well as see you, hence the greeting.
I started working on this on 14 Dec 2023 and finished it on 23 Dec 2023 at about 0200 AKST. Since I had to size this down considerably in order to post it on here (the full-sized file is 567 MB, 14,817 pixels (W) x 22,860 pixels (H), at 300 dpi), I'll post a separate closeup image of her pendant, which I was working on down at the 1 pixel level.
Here's the link to the original pencil drawing I made nearly 10 years ago...

I put a lot of work into my art (stories, too) and it shows in my attention to details. I never use any A.I. stuff in the creation of my works. This digitally painted color portrait was created using a combination of Corel Paintshop Pro 2022, Corel Painter 2022, and Windows Paint. The initial character sketch was done in pencil (an old Pentel PSD5 0.5 mm mechanical pencil using HB lead) on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of printer paper, scanned at 600 dpi, and the rest done on my Acer Aspire 5 laptop (AMD Rhyzen3 CPU, Vega graphics, 32 GB RAM, 512 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD [C: drive], 2 TB 2.5" SATA HDD [D: drive]). Also, I was able to finally save up enough to replace my previous graphics drawing tablet that was destroyed in a house fire over two years ago with a brand new XP-PEN Artist 22 (2nd Generation), which I'm using right now as I type this as an additional (and much larger) monitor.
As with all of my artwork, I offer high quality prints on Fuji Film Chrystal Archive photo paper, generally in 8" x 10" and 20" x 30" sizes, though can do other sizes. If interested, send me a PM.

Since I was up late finishing this and didn't sleep much between 0200 - 0800, I think I'm going to take a nap (it's presently 1405 AKST) and then try to do some writing.
I will be remaking some of my older character drawings that were done in pencil into digitally painted portraits like this one, as I can get to them. :)
