She's on my belly, curled up under my palm. I'm trying to keep her relatively unbothered, but it's hard. I only handle her a few minutes a day, except the two days after feeding.

Do snakes enjoy physical contact (i.e. petting) or is it simply tolerated? Really curious how interactive they are as pets.

Some seem to enjoy it, some are indifferent, and some dislike it. Much like mammals, reptiles have individual personalities. The one true universal is that none of them really like their head being touched.
