love the art, but I'll never figure out why people draw them drawing on the wrong side of the bow...

You need to tell this to the model that was using the bow like this, as I had used a photo reference to make this pose

What do you mean by wrong side of the bow?

hand goes on other side of the bow. unless you are using a thumb ring. it would be mighty awkward to draw like that with any kind of accuracy or power.

nice model. good pictures. but you'll notice in the other pictures he holds the bow right. Like the disclaimer says, you'll have to excuse the inaccuracies. this is for looks. I wasn't flaming you btw. a lot of people wouldn't notice. Or even recognize what was wrong.
it's STILL a good picture.

and yeah, having a reference that's holding it wrong is a very good reason to make that mistake.
