A few days ago after I painted Jeagar, I opened up my 38 years painting and it looked way off to me. At the time I did it I was happy with it, but 8 months later it looked all wrong and so I decided to pull a George Lucas, but hopefully in the reverse where I actually made it better.
So I repainted it. I left the background alone because I was happy with that, pretty much just repainted everything else. I feel this better conveys the age, the emotion and the setting.
