\n\n This is a free verse poem that I made kinda spontaneously. I've never done a lot of poetry but I just jotted this down. This is kind of a personal thing that has been going on with me lately and I wanted to get some of those feelings into writing. The person's name is fictional, but does represent someone in my life. \n\n Can I tell you something?
\n\n Something I’ve never told anyone
\n\n Not a soul
\n\n I’m not sure how to say it
\n\n This isn’t easy
\n\n Just hear me through
\n\n I need to get something off my chest
\n\n Yeah, everything’s alright
\n\n It’s just…
\n\n I’m afraid
\n\n Of you and everyone else if I said anything
\n\n I’ve been meaning to say something
\n\n I’m terrified
\n\n

\n\n Yeah I’m serious
\n\n I’ve known for a while now
\n\n No, I don’t have a boyfriend
\n\n Not yet
\n\n I hope to
\n\n Yeah, there is someone I’d like to be with
\n\n But, I’m hesitant to tell him
\n\n He’s got a girlfriend
\n\n Maybe I should tell him
\n\n Yeah, it’s someone you know
\n\n No, not him
