KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

Jin could barely sleep last night.

He was thinking of ways to help Lady Ageha and her husband keep their club.

Even if it was a virtual settlement it was a place worth keeping.

He barely got a few hours of sleep before his alarm began nagging him to wake up.

Jin slammed his fist on the silence button, almost breaking his clock in half, before carrying himself to the bathroom for a cold shower in hopes of waking up.

Jin finished his shower quickly, before going down to get ready for his morning run.

Surprisingly, his mother and the twins were there, her in the kitchen and them watching a football match, yelling and screaming their lungs out.

"Good morning mother. Where is father?" Jin stood beside her and began making his own snack before training.

"He had to go early today, said something about his boss calling a meeting"

"Hmmm" Jin took a knife and began peeling an apple.

He suddenly heard a hushed gasp.

It came from his mother.

He didn't turn to her, but glanced at her from the corner of his eyes.

Her hands were shaking.

She turned to him, "H-hey Jin, maybe I can peel it for you, you could hurt yourself after all"

When he turned to her, she winced slightly from the look she received for an instant.

But he looked at her with a normal expression, if not a smile, "I'm okay mother, nothing will happen"

He suddenly winced with pain.

He looked at his hand. A small cut formed on his hand, which was bleeding lightly.

Without him noticing his mother backed away by two steps.

Jin let out a deep sigh, eating the half peeled apple.

He turned to his mother with a smile on his face, "Better than throwing it away" He then went back upstairs to get a plaster for his hand.

After a few minutes, he came back downstairs, this time going straight for the door, "See you later"

His mother watched the door closely as if to make sure of something.

She then took the knife Jin used and began washing it frantically, even the handle, which resulted in a few cuts.

She suddenly fell to her knees, holding her face and crying.

The twins didn't move from their spot.

They knew why she did what she did, but couldn't do anything to calm her down.

-------------------------------------------

He went to the local park.

He was jogging lightly straight from his house to the park.

No one was there so it was the perfect for a jog at the time.

As he was jogging he saw someone in a distance.

A full grey track jacket and pants. From his body size and build, he guessed a guy.

Jin didn't pay him much mind, and kept at his pace.

After a few hours he was drinking from a small fountain there, before taking a small puddle in his hand and washing his face with it.

"Hello their newbie" Jin turned to the voice, and found the grey track suit wearing guy from earlier.

"Hello, but do I know you?" Jin looked him from top to bottom, trying to remember where he saw him.

The guy was tall with a strong looking face, his hair was formed in a messy natural spiky, with slightly thick sideburns streaking down to his lower jaw.

The tracks he wore did little to hide his muscular frame.

"Oh, we didn't meet in person, but I saw you at the quest board, you looked obviously new"

Jin crossed his eyebrows attempting to remember.

He then did remember the cheetah guy asking if he needed help, "The cheetah guy was you?"

The man waved his hand in the negative, "No no, I was a distance away from you, watching you in case you decide to call for help"

Jin now remembered, "Then the feeling of someone watching me?"

"If you did sense my presence then your skills must go beyond the game" The man put his fists on his hips and nodding proudly, "Yep, I was watching you in case you were in any danger" His face frowned for a bit, "Actually, I was going to intervene when that cheetah came over to you. He is bad news"

Jin cocked his head to one side, making the guy blush a little turning his head away.

He just imagined a husky in Jin's place

He coughed softly to himself, "He is a member of the Clawed Crimson, one of the biggest and strongest guilds in the game. They are also the worst there is"

Jin then crossed his arms, "Yeah a friend I met told me about them. Is there anything being done about them?"

The man shook his head, "Nothing the players were told about"

Jin's eyes then suddenly widened, "Oh just listen to us, talking like old friends when we don't even know each other's names" He extended his hand, "Name's Asamu. Sorry but I still can't trust you with my real name"

The man smiled softly and took the hand in a firm shake, "No need to apologize, wasn't going to ask you anyway. Name's Kagetora, that's my character's, not mine"

"Mr. Kage then?" Jin said with a smile of his own, "What's your class if you don't mind me asking?"

" I don't mind at all. My main class is the Shinobi, I also take time to strengthen my swordsman and monk"

"Cool, I like the Shinobi too, but my main class is the Summoner" He then began thinking a little, "Hey, since we are now semi-friends, could you help me in strengthening my own Shinobi, I like the caster classes, and since the Ninja is half-caster I thought I might need his stealth capabilities"

Kagetora nodded in agreement, "That's a good idea, and both of us should strengthen our other classes evenly as well" Jin cocked his to the side head again, "There is a new expansion coming out next week for El Dorado. The official forums mentioned that they will introduce what they call Class Instances"

"Class Instances?" Jin barely started yesterday and he is already expecting an expansion.

"Yeah, the name is basically self explanatory. They developers will introduce class exclusive quests, they even mentioned exclusive dungeons and even rumors of exclusive raids"

Jin's eyes widened, "Wow, imagine that, a raid or dungeon filled with nothing but Ninjas"

"Yeah, but I'm sure those are simply just to teach the players that their selected classes can do more than hack and slash things"

"That's quite exciting thing to expect, thanks for notifying me of it" Jin looked at his watch, "I need to go back home now, it's been nice speaking with you"

"Pleasure is all mine kid, I will meet you when you log in. Whoever logs in first must send a friend request to the other, that way it will be easier for us to meet even if we log in at different times"

"Good idea, I will see you in El Dorado then" He turned back and began his jog back home.

--------------------------------------------

Jin finally returned home.

He took off his shoes at the door, "I'm home" He called out, but no one answered.

He guessed his mother must have went to work. He didn't know where his brothers were, but he didn't care much, they're not children.

He went into the kitchen to get something to drink, he saw the knife he used, the handle was gleaming at the head.

When he checked it carefully, he found a single drop of water there. The knife was placed into a special rack so it didn't move much if at all, giving the drop no reason to fall.

He deduced that the knife was washed thoroughly, and there was only one person in the kitchen at the time.

Tch.

He held the knife in reverse like a dagger, stabbing the cutting board his mother uses.

He put enough force to leave the knife embedded straight up on the thin, flat board.

The look in his eyes was the same he gave his mother briefly this morning.

The eyes of a predator who prefers to play with his prey rather than eat it. He even began grinning widely like a mad man.

"Morning Jin" He turned to the voice.

His brother Endou stood leaning on the door frame.

Endou was not your usual stay at home otaku, he wasn't fat, but still had a small belly forming and Jin remembered his secret stash of Wii Fit games.

Jin remembered how he would sneak and play them when he thought no one was at home.

Jin thought that the twins also knew.

So the three made a silent arrangement to talk about training regimes as other fitness related subjects, slipping Endou a few advices here and there.

Jin straightened himself and his glasses, "Morning Endou"

Endou glanced at the door, "Mom was a little upset this morning, she also had a few bandages on her hand" He turned his gaze back to Jin, "You know anything about that?"

Jin wasn't looking at him, "No, whatever happened must have been while I was outside" He turned to Endou, his eyes seeming almost uncaring for anything, "She seemed cheerful before I went out"

Before Endou could say anything, Jin walked past him to the basement, "I'm going to do a few extra exercises, before diving into El Dorado. Thanks for the present by the way"

Endou just nodded.

When Jin arrived at the basement, he flicked the lights on, which revealed a small gym.

Weights, treadmills and even cardio mats.

He took off his track suit, remaining in a black sleeveless shirt and dark blue shorts and began doing a few exercises, mostly concentrating on his mid-section.

By the time he finished, he was sweating heavily, even his clothes were soaked.

He felt a tightness in his shorts.

When he looked down, sure enough, his dick was pitching quite the impressive tent.

Whenever he practiced he would get a hard-on for some reason even he didn't know. That's why he preferred to use the gym alone, It would be very embarrassing if he got hard around Daiki or Raiki.

The family knows where his taste lies and were okay with it, but it will still feel awkward and his brothers will not let him hear the end of it.

He went and took another cold shower to calm himself.

Afterwards he went to his room, and got in pajamas, he figured it would be more comfortable when he dove into the virtual space.

He launched the game, wore his visor and laid down in bed.

He logged into the system and was then immediately taken to his room in the inn.

He walked over to his equipment chest and wardrobe, taking whatever he needed, before taking his ink gourd, strapping it on his back, and taking his brush in hand.

He finally left his room, making his way to leave the building, as he was walking, he passed the club area, and saw a few players on stage.

He saw one who caught his eye.

A grey maned wolf, with white underbelly.

He was tall with the same build as Jin, but slightly bulkier.

He had some weird accessory on his wrists. Bracelets made with some glowing blue stones.

He also wore silk pants strapped with a leather belt on his waist.

His midsection was almost non-existent, just a six pack that seemed softer than they looked.

Jin didn't care much, but if the wolf was one of those employees, he had to try him out.

He finally reached the outside.

Making a beeline to the guild building, he just then remembered his promise to Kagetora.

He opened his mail options and found one new message.

He opened it and found a friend request by Kagetora.

He accepted immediately.

He finally arrived to the Guild Building. So many people as usual.

He found the board he needed, but beside it was board for local advertisement.

He got curious, and began looking through it.

Just then a few figures stood beside him looking at the board as well. All was silent until, "Just look at this nonsense" One of them motioned to an advertisement, "They still dare to keep that place standing. Disgusting"

Jin looked over at them, three figures, they all wore some kind of white grey and golden armor, two wore shoulder pads with a small cape hanging from them.

The last one, who seemed to be the leader wore an original bigger cape on his back.

They were a wolf, a jaguar and the leader another white wolf.

Jin took a glance towards what they mentioned.

It was an employment advertisement by Akage and Ageha's club.

It was called the Crescent Spring.

"What's it to you?"

The group turned to him, the lead wolf had an irritated look on his face, "What was that?"

Jin turned to them as well, with his own look disinterest, "What's it to you? They are people who are doing something good for the lonely people of the virtual internet. I bet you are just jealous that they are more popular than you"

The wolf's left eye twitched, "Us!? Jealous of them!? Perish the thought. We, the proud Order are the strongest guild in this game, why should we be jealous of them"

Jin remained silent, but the wolf went on.

"To believe that there are perverts who abuse the freedom that this beautiful world provide us is just despicable"

"At least they are not virgins" Jin mumbled loud enough for the crowd forming around them and the members of the Order to hear him.

"At least we are pure" The wolf raised his voice slightly.

"I bet you don't know how to jack off" Jin said that one loud and clear, electing a laugh out of the crowd, much to the wolf's embarrassment.

"I'm not some hooligan who can't find someone to please him" The wolf was raising his voice slowly.

"If your such an expert then, can you name the different positions"

"Of course I can" He began counting his fingers, "There is a offensive line, defensive line, line backers, receivers and defensive backs" He crossed his arms with a proud smirk.

Everyone were silent, even the wolf's comrades.

Jin's mouth then curved into a restricted smile, *SNRK*

Then everyone around them broke out in uncontrollable fits of laughter, much to the wolf's surprise.

"What? What did I say?"

Jin was laughing so hard he had to lean on his brush to stop himself from falling face first.

The wolf was starting to blush with embarrassment while everyone was still laughing like maniacs.

Even his own comrades were snickering away trying to hold their own laughter, but failing miserably.

Jin managed to compose himself wiping a few tears away, "Dude, you're beyond virgin" He coughed softly, chuckling here and there, "I meant sex positions idiot"

The wolf's face turned beet red much to everyone's amusement.

The crowd were laughing eve harder now, even his comrades now couldn't hold themselves and began laughing loudly and as hard as everyone else.

The wolf now furious, glared swords and daggers at Jin.

He wanted to smack some respect in him, but with them being in a town, fights between players and PKs in general were forbidden.

Unless.....

Jin suddenly saw a message appear in his face.

He looked at the wolf with an amused look on his face, "Seriously dude?"

The message to Jin was a duel request by Arkadus.

The crowd now calm were turning to each other with amused looks, waiting to see where this is going.

Jin hide a small sadistic smile spread on his face.

Before accepting the duel.

Suddenly he and the wolf- Arkadus were transported to the local arena of the town.

The building was circular and wide, with many rows of seats in the stadium, and the arena itself was wide to allow freedom of movement.

The original style was of ancient Romans and Greek, but the design itself was Asian.

The stadium suddenly began to fill with spectators, all hollering and cheering for both contenders.

Jin was looking at Arkadus with some interest.

Judging from the big sword he carried Jin guessed he was a warrior.

Both suddenly hear someone in the audience calling to the others, "All right people we got a newbie and a member of one of the strrrongest guilds around, who will win and who will eat dirt? Place your bets, come on, come on now, don't be shy"

After a few minutes Jin suddenly raised his hand suddenly.

Everyone looked at him with curiosity, while Arkadus had an amused smile, "What? Giving up before we start?"

"No, I just thought I would give you a handicap" Jin's creepy smile never left his face.

Arkadus' left eye twitched once, but he remained silent, waiting to see what this handicap is.

Jin went to his duel options pressing a few commands.

Then suddenly the other two members of the order were suddenly beside their leader.

The wolf laughed loudly, "What is this? You call this a handicap? You do realize were outnumber and outclass you right?"

Then the same guy from before called again, "Ooooohhhh, this is getting intense folks, we have a courageous newbie here with us this fine day"

Among the audience, three figures, two humans and a canine- a shiba inu were sitting beside each other. All three wore ceremonial robes with different designs and colors.

The shiba had some purple hand drawn markings on his face and muzzle.

The human in the middle had a feathered war fan in his hand, looking intently at Jin.

Jin himself then began glowing, softly, before his equipment faded and were replaced by a different loadout.

This new loadout consisted of a black and dark green hooded coat, a belt on his waist with three skulls in the middle the middle one being bigger, black and silver gauntlets going from his hands to near his elbows, dark brown boots, and his weapon was a crescent shaped sickle on a long staff, forming a weird makeshift scythe.

This was his Necromancer loadout.

The middle human of the robed three looked with interest at Jin's choice of class, "I see, he is quite clever" His voice was soft and smooth.

The shiba turned to him with a curious look, "How, my lord? His level isn't anywhere close to theirs, and their equipment is far superior.

"Indeed. However, with his level, if he used his current abilities right?"

Jin the looked at his opponents from below the hood.

His eyes glowed with evil glee, making him look like some kind of demon, even going as far as resembling a mini-boss of sorts.

The three warriors took a shuffling step back.

Then a timer suddenly appeared in mid-air, counting down from 60s, giving both parties to make final preparations.

Both parties took stance, just as the counter reached the final countdown.

.......5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0. Battle Start, a mechanical voice announced loudly.

Just then, the two Order lackeys dashed at high speed towards Jin, he didn't have a chance to dodge. Both stroke at the same time, one with a large axe, the other with a broad sword, both with enough power to reduce his HP to zero. An instant kill.

Or so they thought.

Jin's body disappeared before their eyes in a cloud of black, purple and green.

Everyone looked over with wide eyes, just as Jin's voice called, "Over here boys" The Order warrior, turned only to find Jin extending his hand out, with an open palm facing him directly.

Just then Jin's hand released a small plume of smoke in the wolf's face, making him stagger and cough. The wolf swung his sword, but Jin parried his strike, taking a swing of his own, catching the wolf's left side.

The wolf growled in irritation, as he swung his weapon, this time hitting Jin head-on, reducing his HP to zero. Again?

Jin this time appeared behind the two subordinates, releasing a bigger plume of smoke, covering a small area around them. Just then, the ground began glowing green beneath the. As they moved their movement became sluggish and slow, seconds later they began coughing hard due to the smoke.

Jin simply gave them a small smile, "I'll leave you boys for the time being" He simply walked past them and towards their leader, who was waking up from his daze, but still had some effects from the smoke.

This time Jin charged at him, taking a swing, but was parried by the wolf, taking his own swing with his sword, but, "You won't fool me this time!" He took a swing behind him, but he swung at air.

"I know" Jin's voice called from directly behind him, "That's why I don't use the same tactics twice" The wolf then screamed as a hard slash hit his back. When he turned around, another plume of smoke hit his face, this time however, he staggered harder.

"We're coming boss!!" One of the lackeys called from behind Jin, as they both took a swing.

Jin this time however: Simply disappeared.

They couldn't stop their attacks, as both hit their leader, who screamed loudly, as half of his remaining health was depleted, "AAARRGG, YOU IMPECILES!!!" He yelled as he swung at both his subordinates, taking a decent chunk of both their HPs.

Jin looked at them with an almost cute expression, "Oh dear me. Did I forget to turn on the friendly fire settings. Clumsy me"

Back in the audience. The human with a feather fan giggled in amusement to himself, as his shiba subordinate looked at him with confusion, "My lord?" The human turned to him, "Just keep watching"

Back in the arena: The three warrior party stood at one side, but with difficulty. while Jin stood with ease and a wide sadistic smile on his face, "Come on boys, you can't be tired already?"

All three warriors panted hard, as their leader began analyzing his status: All three HP bars were in their red zone, but Jin's was still in the green, only a small portion of points missing.

Jin then smiled wider, "I believe this battle went on long enough" He raised his scythe, holding it forward sideways. Just then, a wall of smoke formed behind him, as a legion of ghosts and phantoms screamed and wailed as they flew towards and the three warriors.

They tried moving away, but couldn't. They looked down and found the ground beneath and around them covered in the same smoke, with something grabbing on to their feet.

Then a loud and slow groaning hit their ears. As hands upon decaying hands, rose from within the smoke, climbing onto their bodies as the phantasmal zombies held their bodies still. Just then the ghosts flying towards them, held all three in a whirlwind of pain and screams, slowly corroding their HP.

By the time the zombies and ghosts were done with them, their bodies were scratched and bruised, their armor and equipment corroded, dented and torn. All three have fallen to their knees, as Jin walked slowly to them, the leader looking at him with disgust as the now Necromancer, stood in front of them, "Cheater"

Jin smiled to himself before replying, "At least I'm not a sore loser, you spoiled brat" He raised his scythe before swinging it sideways, catching all three in their mid-section, taking what little remained in their health.

Winner: Asamu. The announcer called, much to everyone's surprise.

The crowd cheered loudly, as the three warriors' armor and weapons vanished, leaving them in whatever underclothing the game allowed in public.

The data of their equipment all went to Jin's inventory, being that they placed a bet right before starting the match.

A few minutes later, everyone returned to the front guild's boards.

Jin was taking his time checking the loot he got from his win.

"Are you done yet?" The wolf leader and his lackeys stood their half naked in their underwear, trying their best to cover themselves, much to the amused looks of the other players gathering around them.

After taking his time, Jin closed his inventory window, "Yes. You can go" He said with a wide smile on his face.

They went out of the building with their tails covering their crotches as much as possible, pushing away anyone, who blocked their way.

All the players there, cheered for the newbie who took down 3 members of the biggest guilds around.

Jin welcomed the attention for a while. Players asking to form parties, others sending friend requests, requests assistance with difficult quests, permission to even hang out with him. But he simply grew tired of this pretty quickly, making his way to the main plaza, where the fountain is located.

He sat down, again admiring the passersby. But his mind was elsewhere.

It was until he felt someone besides him, "Good afternoon my good man" Jin turned to find three players wearing ceremonial robes. He checked their status: One was a priest, their leader he thought, the other two were mages from the looks of it.

"And you guys are?" He really wasn't interested in anything for now.

"We mean you no harm friend" The priest said with a short but polite bow, "We are members of The Council. A small guild so far, but we are growing. We witnessed your battle just now, you are quite the caster my friend, and the succession and timing of your casting is astounding. Are you sure you're new to the game?"

"Yes I'm new to the game" Jin answered standing from his place, "But I'm not new to the VRMMO society" He stated a little bit proudly.

The human priest smiled, covering his lower face with his feathered fan, "That is great to know, I am still amazed by your battle, especially the way you utilized you're Venom Palm and the Parade of Ghosts for a finisher. Absolutely astounding"

Jin remained silent however, his eyes showing mistrust.

"Since you're a successful caster, we would like you to-"

Jin cut him off with a raised hand, "Not interested in joining a guild, at least not yet"

"You dare to refuse Lord Seimei's generosity like this?!" The shiba yelled, but was held back by the priest, Seimei.

Jin however wasn't fazed, "Like I said: I'm not interested, YET"

"Besides: He's with me" Another person came along and stood behind Jin.

The new guy was wearing a red and golden trimmed ninja outfit, complete with a golden gauntlets, leg guards, elbow and shoulder pads and a metal headband, all had a dragon theme to them, his whole outfit resembled that of a dragon.

Seimei gave both an uninterested glance, "Very well then, but please think about our offer Asamu, it would be our pleasure to introduce you to the rest of our guild" He then left, followed closely by his two subordinates.

The red shinobi crossed his arms, "Good riddance. Thought they would never leave"

He suddenly found a brush in his face, Jin giving him a murderous glare, "You should do the same I believe"

The shinobi however wasn't fazed, he simply shook his head, chuckling softly to himself, "You really are unfamiliar with the system are you?"

Jin looked at him with confusion, cocking his head to the side, before it clicked in his head, and turned his attention to the guy's stats.

Main Class: Shinobi, level: 42, player name: Kagetora.

"Oh Kage. Sorry, thought you're someone else" Jin smiled, sheathing his brush behind his back.

"Not a problem. You're still new, it can't be helped" He turned around, then looking back at Jin, "I believe you wanted my help?"

Jin's eyes widened, "Oh yeah that's right. Almost forgot" He inputted some silent commands, changing his loadout to his Shinobi class.

His shinobi outfit was more dark blue in color that occasionally gave a purplish glow when in contact with light. Two tanto knifes rested on his waist in the back, and a large kusarigama on his back.

His armor consisted of the same thing that Kage wore: shoulder, elbow and knee pads as well as arm and leg bracers and a metal headband, but Jin's own were silver in color.

"I'm ready when you are" Kage nodded his head as he and Jin both jumped high and raced on the rooftops of the city, towards the gates that lead outside the city to the wilderness.

_____________________________

A few minutes later.

*SCCRREEEEECCCHHH* That was sound the sound of a creature similar to the ones Jin hunted on his very first quest right before it exploded into colorful clouds and bubbles.

The kill was made by Jin so the loot went to him, and the money was shared among him and Kage's party.

"Nice work there" Kagetora applauded as he walked towards Jin, "Your really getting the hang of the shinobi's combat system. Hate to admit it, but you adapted way faster than I did" He then went into his teacher mode, "Now remember: the ninja is one of that 'fast-casters' among all the classes. The others I know of are the monk and gunslinger. The best shinobi is determined by how efficiently they utilize that fast cooldown perk, which is something you have a knack for according to what I saw"

Jin nodded as he gathered his loot, absorbing everything his 'teacher' said. It might not seem much to others, but to gamers: the gaming society can be ruthless, and even downright animalistic, the weak always preyed upon by the strong, the high leveled players always pick on the lower levels and the type of games that Jin hates are those that are branded P2W 'Pay-2-Win' where the player with more money is the stronger, no matter their level.

Jin noticed the will-o-wisp from before, picking it up and analyzing it with his eyes, "Cool, you found a Shifter Wisp" He turned to Kage, who was eyeing the wisp himself, "And I'm sure you don't know what they are?" That got him a nod, followed by a head cock to the left. Kage blushed at Jin's gesture, turning away from Jin's gaze, luckily for him his mask covered his face all the way.

Kage cleared his throat, "I'm sure you noticed all the players who look like everything but human right?" Jin nodded, letting Kage continue, "Well they did it using those" He pointed at the wisp in Jin's hand, "Basically: if you gather a certain number of those, and fuse them together, you'll get a Soul Shifter, which will allow you to change you're cosmetic look to whatever creature or creatures you got them from, it is equipped in the cosmetic section of your current loadout. And you the best part? You can equip different Soul Shifters to different loadouts. Oh and before I forget: you can also add some special effects using other enhancement items, like elemental stones" Kage added the last part as he remembered a guy he knew, at first he was a human, then a wolf, then a wolf that looked like it was bathing inside a volcano.

Jin gave a confused frown. Kage scratched the back of his head, "Here let me show you" Kage stepped back a little, looking in his menu for the right loadout.

"HELP!!!" But his teaching had to wait, as both ninjas nodded firmly, before jumping among the trees to the source of the scream.

When they arrived they found a group of white and golden armor wearing players almost five surrounding a low leveled player, all were an average level of 40, while the surrounded player was merely level 23. From the looks of it, it was obvious who screamed.

Jin turned his attention to the victim. The guy was small in stature, a fellow summoner from the looks of his ceremonial robe, brush and ink gourd. His robe was lunar in design, white, blue and golden trimmed, with a blue and golden trimmed sash around his neck, with two other protrusions flowing behind him like a cape.

The brush was, for a better description, royal in design. golden strands of metal twisting around the base of the brush giving a tribal design, with the gourd all golden with the same design but with silver strands.

But what caught Jin's attention was the guy himself. He was a freaking black CAT.

But all that didn't matter, as both ninja's picked up speed to help.

_________________________

Hiro was cornered, forced to back up to a large tree behind him.

The players were from the Order, but what did he do to incur their wrath like this.

He backed away from them till his back was now pressed to the tree, "What do you want? Whatever I did I apologize for it"

One of the warriors, the one with the stronger looking armor, walked forward, a large shield in hand, and a similarly large sword in the other, he was relatively larger than the others, "Your kind taint this world with your presence. You should quit while you're safe"

"This world is for whoever want to experience it, you're not it's guardians nor are you it's gods" Hiro yelled at him, trying to look brave.

"Trying to put a brave front will not save you" He nodded to two of his comrades, as they walked menacingly towards the black cat.

"Now be a good kitty and stay still so we can skin you. A sicko like you will probably enjoy a little pain, like all of you heathens" One of them taunted.

Hiro was panicking, his big hitting abilities were still in cooldown, and his remaining abilities were mostly status buff abilities and some small hitters that won't even make one of them flinch.

He slid down on the wall into a fatal position, some tears of fear in his eyes, he closed his eyes tightly shut, as if preparing for what's to come.

Please. Someone, anyone.

Help me. He silently prayed to himself, crying softly.

"ASSASSINATION!!" Two new voices call just as two figures appeared behind the two advancing warriors, large black shadow slash effects appeared on their backs just then, both fell to the floor, disappearing in colorful clouds, leaving similarly colorful will-o-wisps.

Assassination: a ninja ability that has a chance of instantly killing the target no matter the level, except that it doesn't work on story, dungeon, raid or even mini-bosses. The instant kill chance increases with the critical of the sum of both the collective and player's critical chance.

Just then the new figures became clear, revealing tow ninjas, "Ganging on a low leveled player to your own. How manly of you" One of them- the dark outfitted one spoke with venom in his tone.

"More freaks of nature. No problem" The leader spoke raising his sword, aiming at the three new players, "This will make worth my time"

When he gave the signal, the remaining two warriors charged at them, but both ninjas were true to their class. Their movement was almost a blur, not giving the warriors a chance to even recover.

Hiro could only look with astonishment, those two were perfectly in synch, and even more adapted to the ninja class, utilizing the classes exclusive abilities and perks to their fullest.

Just then the red colored one, stood away from his opponent, making a few hand gestures, "Fire Art: Dragon's Breath" When he finished calling the ability, he made a blowing gesture with his hand, as a large burst of flame came forth from his mouth. The ability hit the warrior hard, making him stagger and left him with a burned debuff. "Assassination!" The ninja called again, just as he appeared behind the warrior, with the same slash effect, just as the warrior disappeared into the colorful cloud.

The other ninja was slower but it was clear he was winning. He was using his kusarigama, spinning the ball chain threateningly.

When the warrior was close enough however, he threw his chain straight, wrapping the sword's handle and the warrior's hand together, before pulling him forward, "Fatal Strike" He called as he swing his kama in a sideways swing, catching the warrior's midsection.

Just then the other ninja intervened, "Ninja Art: Wind Tunnel" A large tornado blasted forth, blowing the warrior away, but due to the chain still holding him, he didn't go far, which was unnecessary.

The ninja holding the chain, used this leverage and the remaining wind power, as he spun the warrior mid-air, before pulling on the chain hard, which in turn slammed the warrior to the ground, leaving a small crater, and when the dust cleared a will-o-wisp remained in his place.

Now there was only one.

They now turned to the leader, who was stepping back, his sword sheathed and hands raised in defeat, "N-n-now now fellas, no need to do anything hasty" As he stepped back, the two ninjas  began stepping towards him slowly, "We-w-we were j-j-just playing around you know? L-l-like hazing, yes that's it, were just hazing the guy, no harm intended"

The ninjas gave each other a deadpan look, before charging towards him.

When both got close enough, the each gave a strike of their weapons to initiate a battle, now he can't get away.

"Kage no Mai" Both ninjas called in unison, as they disappeared, before one of them hit the larger warrior, then disappearing, then the other did the same, then again and again, until they reached a certain rhythm in their strikes.

Hiro was mesmerized by their teamwork, even the party he came with wasn't this organized.

Just then, the two ninjas stopped attacking, the warrior was left panting and struggling to stand straight, his HP in the deep red zone, one strike from a damaging ability and it's K.O.

Both the ninjas looked over at Hiro, who jumped lightly, before he received a nod from both of them. Understanding what they wanted, he made a determined expression, wiping his lingering tears away, as he stood up and made his way towards them, passing the two ninjas and standing in front of the cowering warrior.

The guy's armor was heavily damaged, cracks everywhere, chunks of the armor was missing, and the cape looked like it had seen better days. When he looked up and saw the angry expression on the cat's face, he began to really shake, "Hey man, look we were just messing with ya, just some fun, no one was harmed. SO what do you say? You're gonna be the better man here and cut me some slack now right?"

Pathetic was the only word that register in Hiro's mind that could describe this guy right now. He however began walking away.

Jin was watching the cat closely.

Kage was about to stop him, and pretty much force him to get the guy back for what he and his friends almost did.

But Jin stopped him, gesturing for him to step back. Kage complied reluctantly.

"That's right. Be the better man here, so now that this is over with I'll just pack myself up and head home"

The cat summoner then stopped, turning around to face the warrior, a few feet from him.

He picked his brush up, aiming it high, before slamming it to the ground, just then it began to glow an ominous red.

The warrior then noticed his targeting screen, only to find that the cat have joined the two ninjas, "Whoa whoa whoa, wait a minute, I'm sorry, we didn't mean anything by all this" The cat however began drawing something on the ground, "I'll compensate you, name your price. Is it money, maybe some gear, I have a summoner class too, I'll give you all I have"

The cat then finished whatever he was drawing, then looked murderously at the warrior, "Too late for that. Don't you think?" The ground around him glowed bright red, just then he a large wyrm dragon, which looked like it had crawled out of the earth's core, it's scales were like magma rocks and it's insides glowing with deadly heat, when it roared, a small storm of embers blew past the warrior.

"Dragonic Vengeance!!" The summoner called as the wyrm's esophagus expanded into almost impossible proportions, before letting out a very strong fire blast, incinerating the warrior to ash.

All that was remained of him was his current armor and unbound equipment.

Kage looked at Jin, who gave him a soft nod. It's as if Jin knew what the cat was thinking.

The cat turned to the two ninjas, with a smile on his face, "Um....thank you...I really appreciate it"

Jin nodded with pride. Kage however was looking at the cat with sympathy, "Do you want some help getting back to the town?"

The cat looked a little worried then nodded, "Yes I would like that" Kage nodded firmly, as he added the cat to their party, just as the name 'BakeNeko' appeared in the party list.

A few minutes, loot gathering and sharing, and some monster slaying later. The party of three made it through the gates and made their way to the towns centre.

Just as they arrived, "Neko!! Over here!" All of them turned to find a large buff human male, a slim human female, a short gecko, a larger dragon and a fox eared female.

"Dude where have you been? We thought we lost you" That was the gecko.

"Oh how happy I am to see you safe" That was the human female, "Now who are those two?" She asked looking at Jin and Kage.

"Those two helped me with the Order warriors. They saved me from the death penalty" Hiro stated almost too proudly.

"Oh that means that you got some really good loot" She then gave a menacing look, "Now let me see them"

Hiro hesitated, her expression hardened slightly, "Now now, be a good kitty, and show me what you got"

Just as Hiro was inputting the trade commands, Jin stepped forward.

She gave him a disgusted look, "And you are?"

"I believe he said the one who bothered to save him. With the help of this guy" Just then Kage stood right beside him, crossing his arms defiantly.

"How about you step aside before you regret it" She said just as the others stood in front of her.

"Let me tell you this lady: You don't deserve whatever he got from that battle, he stood beside us and actually took down their leader" That made the others flinch slightly, "While you, ran away and abandoned him like cowards" He then gave a small evil smile, "Pathetic. I almost fell sorry for you, no one takes you seriously so you surround yourself with stronger players to make yourself look important"

"How dare you?! I was with this party ever since this game was made official, I deserve the loot we get as a group as much as any of them. The fact that we are all friends should be reason enough actually" She yelled and ranted finishing with rough hard breathing.

"Friends?" BakeNeko asked no one in particular, "Friends?!" He yelled this time, "Some fucking friend you are" His sudden outburst caught everyone off guard, "Ever since we made this party, you would extort whatever the others collected, claiming it and bounding it as your own, Asamu is right: you never did any work, so you don't deserve anything from what we collect. You always promise us that we would be something in the game, but how, you're the only one with the flashy outfit and weapons, everyone is looking at you, they don't even acknowledge our presence, your the one who has a higher level than us, and how did you get them? You use us"

He stood in front of Kage and Jin, "You always take credit for the dungeons we cleared, you always act like a fucking queen, and when it comes to the truth, you stand in the back lines, hiding like the filthy coward you are, and bask in the forged glory made by our hard work"

He then pushed past everyone pushing his face to hers, "Fucking pathetic" With that he walked back to Jin and Kage, taking Jin's hand and pulling him along, "Come on. Let's get out of here"

With that, they left the group to take in what Neko revealed to them, and their leader stunned.

Jin still couldn't believe the little cat.

He knew the guy was strong in his own way, but he wasn't expecting him to blow up like this.

Now they were sitting in the living room of a decently sized house, which belonged to Neko.

He was in the kitchen preparing dinner, since it was now nighttime in the game world, all three wore casual clothing.

Jin wore a simple black t-shirt and navy blue pants. Kage wore a blue tank-top with sandy brown shorts. And Neko wore a white tank-top, with long slightly skinny jeans, he was humming softly to himself, as he chopped some vegetables.

Jin was sitting sideways on his chair, looking over at Neko, with a soft dreamy look on his face as he took in Neko's figure.

The cat was almost skinny, but he had some definition to his body, small almost invisible muscles, a flat stomach and small but defined butt.

Jin felt a nudge on his arm, he turned back to a smiling Kage, "Someone is interested"

"Yeah I guess" He turned back to Neko who was pulling a stew pot from the oven, "He looks cute with casual clothing, and I personally like cats, especially black cats"

Before Kage could say anything, Neko came to the table with a bowl of stew, and a few side dishes, "This is the best I could make, I know it's not much to pay you back for helping me, but I hope you enjoy" He said as a small blush crept on his face, and his ears laid back on his head.

Jin had a wide smile on his face, "Are you kidding?! I never tasted anything cooked in this game, except for camp roast"

They sat down and ate the food, with Jin and Kage complimenting Neko's cooking every chance they got.

After a while, the dishes were in the 'washer' and the table was cleared.

Kage then stood from his place, stretching, "Well I got to go, have to wake up early in the morning. Goodnight" With that, he teleported out of the house.

Jin looked over at Neko, "Well I better go back to my room as well, I'm staying in the Crescent Spring.. Goodnight I guess" But before he could, an hand held his own.

Neko was fidgeting in his place, a deep blush covering most of his face, his eyes flicking between the floor and Jin's, "Um....you..you could..uh...stay here if you want. I mean you wouldn't have to pay anything. It's the least I can do"

Jin thought about it for a while, he still needed to find a way to help Ageha, but he can't think of something right now. But he decided.

"I will take you on that offer, thank you" Jin smiled, which received a relieved smile from Neko.

Hiro went to his room, while Asamu took the couch.

Hiro was laying in his bed, thinking about Asamu. He couldn't get that sexy hunk from his mind, and in the game he could act on his feelings without needing to be afraid.

He got up from his bed, the covers over his shoulders, he walked out of the room.

He made his way to the living room. Asamu was sleeping on his back, with his hands behind his head, reclining his upper back on the couch's handle.

Hiro noticed that Asamu was looking at him, and he didn't miss the desire behind those eyes, but he still couldn't be sure.

Well....No time than the present to try his luck.

Hiro, pulled the couch from below, extending it to make it larger a little.

He then laid himself beside Asamu, pulling the covers over both of them, taking in Asamu's scent, sniffing the human's exposed pits, smiling lustily to himself, he then laid his head on Asamu's chest, unknown to him, Asamu's arm fell around him and pulled him close. Just as Hiro logged out.

Hiro pulled his visor from his eyes, just as his mom called him down to dinner.

Hiroshi Kageyama, checked himself in the mirror, a normal kid with small glasses, with a skinny body, that looked almost fragile, the only thing worth looking at was his short blonde hair.

He remembered Asamu, due to the character creation in the VRMMO he knew that Asamu was what he looked like in real life, he attended his school, and was the main point of Hiro's attention.

With a small smile, he went down to dinner.
