Toothless was real fun to colour in I’m very happy on how he came out.
The only thing I don’t like drawing the backgrounds.
I just can’t quite get the depth I am looking for in it. Mind you I hardly do backgrounds so more practicing for me ^^

Then try just using a photograph and doing some manipulation on it. The dragon is actually even more stroke-worthy without the naughty bits showing. I think that it's sort of the innocence of him that does it. You have an invitingly attractive imagination

yeah i did think about using photo backgrounds but it doesn't quite work fro when you want a pacific things in the pic, and yes he does look cuter this way ^^

I agree. I don't like doing backgrounds much myself.
