An Exciting Tale
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
Once, in a forgotten age, a mother told her child a story...
A tale of a father scarcely remembered,
The ghost of a smile, the whisper of a laugh...
A moment of hope in a poisoned world...
A story that would guide them home.
This stunning fan art is by the immensely talented and depicts "The Hatchling" and his mother, Nyramyn, two increasingly central characters to my ongoing fantasy epic, Revaramek the Resplendent.
The hatchling and his mother struggle to survive in an endless, poisoned swamp. To pass the time, Nyramyn tells her child stories she learned from his vanished father. When mother's not around, the hatchling tells himself his own stories, unaware of the power growing within him... Power guided by those very stories, and perhaps...enough to guide them to a better world, before it's too late.
Qahnareen's artwork stunningly depicts the swamp itself, and even incorporates text from the story in its central motif. And, if you've read the story... you'll understand the importance of the sand, too...
Just wonderful work.

I miss rev....
I would like to express the emotions better, cause these were scenes that really tugged at the heart, but here it was more symbolism, more a combination of message...
[Too shy and modest to continue writing, wrapped himself tighter in his wings.]
I really don't like being praised. [He really likes.]
Just a collective of flows.
This flower symbolizes that even in the worst swamp there is beauty, and such a young, innocent soul always wants to see it. Beauty and hope, often invisible to sufferers who need an indication of the further horizon. This is the tragedy, the beauty of the tragedy. And there is always that perspective at many horizons in your writing.
And here is my favorite soundtrack for these scenes
