Snow Tiger
This piece premiered first at the Eurofurence 21 art show.
Inspiration can be tough to come by sometimes, but this is a picture that I have had in mind for years now. It is actually based off a picture of a lion character from Black & White 2, in a kneeling pose.
I had tried rendering a tiger in a similiar fashion years before, but failed. Now with enough courage and experience I was finally able to pull this picture off, exactly the way I wanted.
I am really happy with the final result, even though drawing the fur texture was pretty painful towards the end.

I'm kidding, I'm kidding. In all seriousness, this may be the best picture I've ever seen from you. The positioning, the facial expression, the shading. All fantastic! Very intimidating, too. I feel sorry for who or whatever he's about to charge toward.
The pose is well-done I'd say.
On a more serious note, this looks amazing! Especially with the hard work you put into the detail.
