Sir Isaac Newton's Apple Tree - ASM Headquarters 05-11-2015
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
This is a scion of the apple tree under which Sir Isaac Newton supposedly sat when he was hit by a falling apple. It has seen some hard years, but it appears to be doing better this year than in the past.

Fun fact: though the "apple incident" did happen, the apple itself didn't actually fall on Newton's head. Rather, it fell nearby and he used the observation of the apples falling nearby as another stepping stone in his understanding of gravity.
Also, the apples didn't give him the "aha!" moment that is often depicted in media, but rather it took Newton some twenty years to come to his final conclusions.
