The ferocious Salazzle
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
A paper mâché piece from 2017 that I'm pretty proud of! I've been a Salazzle fan since her pre-Sun-and-Moon reveal, and I just had to sculpt those curves.
This has an inner armature of wire, recycled cardboard, and wood toothpicks, covered with many layers of paper soaked in flour paste, and finished with acrylic paint and matte varnish. Paper maché is very strong and lightweight compared to most other sculpting mediums -- the tendrils on Salazzle's back are purely paper mâché holding its own shape!
