Other than that I can only suggest drawing a full circle to start off (the eyeball) then draw lids around it like in real life.
There are some amazing free guides for stuff like that on pinterest as well.

awesome ^-^ i adore how people get the perfect anime styled linework as well. most of the time mine usually fade with the colorwork, even though its layered on top.

i draw digitally :) using Paint.net

I'm not familiar with the program but I could only suggest making sure you're using a full new layer without transfer set on your pen. I don't even know if paint.net has that stuff... Perhaps you'd be better off with a different program, like paint tool sai or photoshop. Sorry I wish I could help more.

yeah i have SAI, but sadly lack a tablet ;-; so drawing with a mouse 'good' in that is near impossible for me.

Ah well you'll have to save for a tablet! It's a must-have
