Zip is the son of Leveret White and Mary Anne White (the White Rabbit and his maid respectively)- he uses a magicalwristwatch that Theophilus Hata (The Mad Hatter) modified to create a time-slowing spell, allowing him to appear to run at supersonic speeds to everybody else. However, he cannot maintain the spell for long periods of time, otherwise it backfires and slows *him* down (time, after all, does not enjoy being killed.)
