You may recognize Lulu as 's former character. I purchased Lulu and Lelu from Lady Toorima, as well as the rights to continue her wonderful story of the Anima from her when she had to give them up for personal reasons.

Lulu is an anima, a type of genetically-engineered hybrid anthropomorphic being. Anima were created by the Tokyo-based company, the Hashimura Group in the mid 22nd century. By the time Lulu has come of age in the early 23rd century, anima are an increasingly common sight in the world. They are also a major source of controversy, as adult anima are auctioned off as 'pets'; some say slaves; to the highest bidder.
Lulu was one of the most successful combinations of anima ever-produced by the Hashimura Group. Her DNA template was later modified and used to create her 'sisters' Lelu, and Layla. Lulu was gifted with a very docile and agreeable personality, a keen intellect, and an interest in a wide variety of subjects. In short; she was the perfectly-engineered companion. When she 'graduated' she sold for a record of seven million dollars, that was not broken until her sister, Lelu was auctioned. Lulu was purchased by Prince Léon of the tiny, independent, European principality of Saint Guillaume, nestled entirely within the borders of France. Prince Léon is invested in a variety of business interests throughout the world, and so he often brings Lulu back to stay at the Hashimura Group Laboratories while he is away, which Lulu enjoys very much because she is able to see her sisters, Lelu, Layla, and the other anima.
