The Elderly Scroll
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
I just crack myself up sometimes. That title, so damned clever. I should get paid for doing this! :)
Gotta be honest, I didn't like the last image I uploaded. This one I've done differently by leaving Kazerad's sketch as the actual lineart, just cleaning it up a bit. I think the result is a big improvent so I'll probably stick with this method in the two remaining images. When I finish the 5th, I'll post the story too. (with images in proper order - these are definitely NOT i proper order!)
Here, elderly and nearly-blind Katia is dictating a letter to even older Quill Weave. (Yeah, she'd probably be dead by then, but I prefer to think of Argonians have longer-than-normal lifespans). Don't want to spoil the story though so I won't go into it much more than that.
So now I'm waiting for the U.S. Mail to deliver those last two, then get to work on coloring and shading them. BTW, I noticed I missed some shading on Katias shirt and neck, but it's too late now and isn't to jarring. Owell!

Q: "You say that every morning. You're just lucky I take notes as I go along."
I hope i dont scare you with comments like this :)
Elves are incredibly long lives, yet age at the same exact rate as humans and khajiit, first showing signs of adolescence at 11 and adulthood at 18. Elves however are long-lived and can live to be anywhere from 200-800 years old depending on their race, with the Altmer being the longest lived and the Orsimer being the shortest lived Elven races that currently exist in modern Tamriel. - TheElderScrollsLore
Based on these things, I can only surmise that Katia Managan will see all her non-human friends that are her age and older still alive by the time she hits old age. She may be only a mature adult, not yet middle aged, but passed young adult, but she sure would see them all, Quill-Weave possibly included. Though, Quill-Weave did appear as a psychotic criminal in the game TheElderScrolls-4 Oblivion, the writer in a Fighter's Guild quest you helped get arrested for almost murdering a woman for a storybook she wanted to write. Quill-Weave supposedly was going to be jailed for several decades for her crime, so, Katia Managan likely won't see her for a while.
Yes, Quill-Weave from Prequel is the same Quill-Weave seen in the game Oblivion. I don't know why she was used in Prequel. Maybe a sense of nostalgia?
