Struggling with whatever had crashed into him Miktes let out a curse and tried his best to push the heavy body off of his. His harsh movements only earned him an elbow to the face which knocked the blindfold from his head. Opening his blurry eyes the angry young man found himself staring straight into a pair of amber colored pupils. So unlike a Verdomians but somehow comforting. For a few moments Miktes and the creature stared at each other in shock, neither of them noticing the slight glow that appeared in each other’s eyes, so entranced by what they were seeing.

Staring back at the Verdomian under him Barnabus let his mouth hang open in shock. For some reason at that moment he felt like his body was on fire and he was unable to pull his gaze away from the savage alien‘s reddish colored eyes. It wasn’t until he remembered that he had been fleeing for his life that the Jack’s senses came back to him in full force making him realized that he had to get off of the Verdomian. It was also that exact same moment that the green man he was laying on top of seemed to regain his senses as well, both of them drawing back and letting out a frightened shout of, “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”, befored they scrambled away from each other in blind panic.
