Fishing Trip
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
The water's surface broke as a fat koi got forcefully ejected from his ancestral home. "Gotcha!" little Hiyorin shouted as she pulled hard on her fishing rod, the large fish almost too heavy for the young girl to lift. She'd almost given up on her catch, it'd have been several hours since she first laid down the line and she was fresh out of exercises to exercise and games to play as she waited.
As the only girl in the house, her grandfather and brothers had left it up to her to handle the dinner and other housewife responsibilities, cleaning, finances, using arcane to scare off virmen, all the typical woman stuff. Not out of malice but rather it was just how it turned out, with grandpa Longfarm and her brothers out tending the field, Hiyorin took care of the rest.
Today it was saturday, and unbeknowst to her family today was the day Little Miss Hiyo visited the market, to buy just a pinch of spices with the coppers she had saved up that week. Grandpa always said food tasted that little bit better on a Saturday, but he never knew why.
Absolutely amazing art work by the very talented StrawberryNeko! Thank you again sweetheart!
