Note: About friending back those who friend me first, I tend to friend back:
1) People I've met in RL.
2) People I've known around fandom for sometime now, have friends who know them and may trust them and/or those who comment on my LJ.

Also, as of Jan 5, 2004 Jan 1, 2007 March 3, 2008 -- if I had you friended before but you now find yourself defriended, it's because your LJ has been quiet for some time now (i.e. many, many months), and I'd like my friends' list to reflect more of who I read/follow on a daily basis.
