Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Etc):
Smart Inbound is a Google Workspace agency. Most of our shared tools will be in Google Drive. Often, we can share a single file or folder with “anyone who has the link.” This means you do not need a Google account to participate.
However, we will never share confidential information via a public link. We also have a Client Access Folder with all of the project information that must be shared with a Google account.
If you have a @gmail.com email address or currently use Google Drive, you already have a Google account! If not, you can create a Google account with any type of email address (we know, that’s a little confusing).
Microsoft (Office, Teams):
Our enterprise clients often use Microsoft. There are two options for Smart Inbound to participate:
- Share single documents or folders with our team member’s [email protected] email address. We will receive a link with an email verification code. This will allow us to view and edit that document based on permissions. Here are instructions from our strategic Microsoft security partner. You will not be able to share full SharePoint sites with Smart Inbound.
- Create a [email protected] user inside your Microsoft tenant (for long-term partnerships only). This will give your Smart Inbound team member extensive access to your Microsoft account, allowing for much more detailed collaboration.
- For Teams video calls, simply send an invite to the [email protected] email address, and that team member will join as a guest.
Other Platforms (Dropbox, Zoom, Etc):
Smart Inbound does not necessarily maintain permanent accounts on most other platforms. Invite your [email protected] as a temporary guest, or share publicly accessible links to documents or meetings.
