Small Change Fund acts as a catalyst for individuals and grassroots
organizations to improve the environment, reduce poverty, and
promote reconciliation efforts by working with Indigenous Peoples
to support the protection of their lands, waters and communities. We stand with those on the ground, recognizing that the people closest to the challenges are often the ones with the knowledge and solutions to create lasting change.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
Save Lemoine Point Farm: Conserving the Land for Future Generations
On February 17, the Ontario Superior Court will hold a hearing on the fate of the beautiful Lemoine Point Farm in Kingston, ON. We are working with Save Lemoine Point Farm Inc. to secure permanent protection for this biologically diverse landscape, which includes fields, forest and shoreline, and to preserve the agricultural heritage of the property.
