Mahatma Gandhi's success in South Africa established him as a prominent leader and made him very ... more Mahatma Gandhi's success in South Africa established him as a prominent leader and made him very popular in India also. In 1914, he returned to India and began to actively resist British rule through non-violent means, leading to the development of a strong sense of nationalism sentiment among various groups in Indian society. In 1920, the Congress, under Gandhi's leadership, launched the Non-Cooperation Movement based on the principles of Satyagraha and Ahimsa. It was the first nationwide movement of its kind to resist British rule through peaceful means and undermined their power and prestige. Additionally, it helped to unite Hindus and Muslims as it merged with the Khilafat Movement of the Muslim community. The present research paper reviews the history of Mahatma Gandhi's Non-Cooperation Movement.

Anthocyanins have four different structures, which are in equilibrium and include flavylium catio... more Anthocyanins have four different structures, which are in equilibrium and include flavylium cation, quinoidal base, carbinol pseudobase and chalcon. The relative amounts of these structures in equilibrium are varied and depend on the pH and anthocyanin structure (Mazz and Minitiati 1993). Stability of anthocyanins is pH dependent (Bridle and Timberlake, 1997).. At very low pH values, AH + dominant. At higher pH values, AH + is transformed into B, and further to C and to A with increasing pH values. The susceptibility of AH + towards degradation is extremely low (Hubbermann et al., 2006). Absorbance values varied significantly at lower and higher pH as well as with the increase of storage period, that is, 226.67nm at pH 3 and 244.17nm at pH 9 after 8 hr of storage. Hence anthocyanins from berry extract are most stable at low pH values.

While the opportunity is huge, women entrepreneurship in India takes variety of forms. So it is critical to identify demographic profile of various segments of women entrepreneurs and how they differ in motivation, advocacy and constraints. This study is conducted with the help of snowball sampling of 106 unorganised women entrepreneurs of Lucknow district. It is a qualitative study which makes an attempt to analyse the reasons behind women participation as entrepreneurs and the challenges faced by them.

In case of the Indian blackberry (Jamun) extract, only one peak was observed at 25.298 min with an area of 38.248mAU. The quantified amount of malvidin in Jamun extract was 26.01mg/100g, whereas no amount of cyanidin was recorded. The IR spectra revealed (KBr Pellets) the typical peaks (Fig 5.3.2.2 Annex.-3) at 3387.00 cm-1 (O-H, stretching), 2939.52 cm-1 (C-H, stretching in aromatic ring), 1643.35 cm-1 (C=C, stretching in alkenes present in aromatic rings), 1066.64 cm-1 (C-O-C, stretching).

A study was carried out to check the stability of anthocyanin pigments extracted from the Indian ... more A study was carried out to check the stability of anthocyanin pigments extracted from the Indian blackberry (Jamun) with respect to different time-temperature (40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 0 C at 5, 10, 15 and 20 min at each temp) combinations. The crude extract dissolved in seven different media containing different concentrations of salt, sugars, agar and corn starch. Significant higher losses in the stability of pigment were noticed with the increase in time and temperature. It was demonstrated that the stability of pigment declined progressively with the gradual increase in the time and temperature of heating. Under the time-temperature paradigm, the additives accorded protection to the stability of anthocyanins.

This study explores customers' awareness of banking services, with a focus on digital offerings, across public and private sector banks in India. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from 420 customers in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Haryana, with Delhi selected as the primary research area. The research employs an exploratory cum descriptive research design and judgment sampling technique to ensure a representative sample. Findings reveal nuanced differences in awareness levels among customers of public and private sector banks, particularly concerning e-banking services. Statistical analyses, including t-tests and ANOVA, shed light on demographic factors influencing awareness levels.

Aim of the study: the main aim of the study is to present challenges and approaches of teaching language during pandemic.
Material and method: As part of a basic Delphi technique, three expert groups of important language lecturers who are well-versed in online learning, curriculum, and pedagogy were used to gather data for this qualitative research.
Conclusion: This study's results are relevant because they provide light on how institutions are handling online delivery of academic courses.

Organizations today use various appeals in their advertising practices in order to influence cons... more Organizations today use various appeals in their advertising practices in order to influence consumers' attitudes and further their intention to purchase a certain product or a service. Mainly, we divide advertising appeals into rational and emotional appeals. However, there are various other appeals that enhance an advertisement and make it a lot more attractive. It is known that there is no particular pattern to be followed in order to inculcate appeals in advertisements; this study thus aims at exploring the impact of rational and emotional appeal on individuals and their purchase behavior. Using a focused approach, the research generated certain results when it came to the population and how these appeals affect a particular gender. It was indicated that, for women, the emotional appeal and message in the advertisement had a stronger impact while for men, the rational appeal attracted their purchase intention. Thus, it can be implied that the product, its purpose and target group are all interdependent and thus can influence the advertiser to choose the right type of an appeal accordingly. One can also use a combination of various appeals in order to effectively influence the target market into purchasing a certain product or service.

In project-based learning (PBL), the learners remained the center of the process by engaging, collaborating and connecting himself to the real world. Teachers can explore characteristics of project-based learning and can organize the curriculum, the classroom, technology and the students for the successful 21st century skills. This study investigated the effectiveness of project-based learning (PBL) for teaching science at elementary level. The objectives of the study were application of the project-based learning technique to teach science at elementary level and finding out the effect of project based learning on the academic achievement of the students. There was no significance difference between the mean academic achievement scores of pre-test and post-test after the treatment. The one-group pretest-posttest design was used for the present study. All grade 8 students of the Federal Government high schools of Rawalpindi and Islamabad were the population. A federal school 8th class was randomly selected for the study. This selected group was considered as experimental group. The group was pre and post tested. The experimental group was taught through project-based learning technique by the researcher. After the treatment a post test was conducted and difference of the mean academic achievement score was observed. t test was used to analyze the data and it was recommended to use PBL in classroom particularly in teaching science subjects.

Well-nourished children perform better in school, grow into healthy adults and also give their children a better start in life. Well-nourished women face fewer risks during pregnancy and childbirth, and their children set off on firmer developmental paths, both physically and mentally. In the first 36 months of life, children develop 40 percent of their ability to think, speak, reason and lay the foundation for their social behaviour as adults. Under nutrition is implicated in more than half of all child deaths worldwide. Every minute of every day, somewhere in the world, 21 children die of malnutrition and preventable diseases. Even when it doesn't kill, chronic malnutrition can cause blindness, deformities and brain damage. The number of malnourished children under the age of 5 in the developing world is projected to decline by only 21 % from 166.3 million in 1997 to 131 million in 2020. This means that by 2020, nearly onefourth of all children younger than 5 years will still have malnutrition.

The framers of the Indian Constitution deliberately chose a parliamentary democracy as the suitable framework for a nation as vast and diverse as ours. However, there exists a growing apprehension within India regarding various aspects of our electoral system. The infiltration of criminal elements into our political landscape has been a subject of unanimous concern, highlighted by numerous committees on political and electoral reform. This infiltration manifests in multiple forms, with a particularly alarming aspect being the substantial presence of elected officials facing pending criminal charges. Across Indian states, politicians find themselves entangled in controversies, fostering relationships with criminal elements, thereby enabling these forces to exert undue influence over our democratic institutions. Regrettably, no political party remains untouched by this influence, as leaders often capitalise on a system that favours their interests. The lamentable consequence is that individuals with tainted records and illicit affiliations ascend to positions of power within our legislative bodies, entrusted with the governance of our nation despite their compromised integrity. This criminalization of governance poses a dire threat to India's democratic fabric. This article endeavours to dissect the evolution and underlying causes of criminalization within Indian politics, tracing its origins and its detrimental impact on the democratic process. Moreover, it also underscores the measures taken towards electoral reform and offers insights into their implementation.

Being one of Bangladesh's immediate neighbouring countries, India holds a crucial role in shaping its foreign policy. The geographical proximity, economic engagements, energy exchanges, trade connections, cultural affinities, and historical bonds offer numerous opportunities for fostering a close, friendly, and cooperative alliance between the two nations. Both countries have sufficient potential and incentives to develop a mutually advantageous partnership. However, despite the increasing trade and economic prospects, certain underlying structural challenges impede the realisation of their full potential. This research paper aims to explore the key challenges that limit and hinder the strengthening of Indo-Bangladesh relations in view of India's neighbourhood policy. Our areas of focus will include insurgency, illegal migration, border disputes, trade disputes, as well as war and peace efforts. In each of these aspects, we will examine the various issues on which both sides hold divergent positions or downplay their significance concerning bilateral relations.

The quantified amount of malvidin in Jamun extract was 26.01mg/100g, whereas no amount of cyanidin was recorded. The IR spectra revealed (KBr Pellets) the typical peaks (Fig 5.3.2.2 Annex.-3) at 3387.00 cm-1 (O-H, stretching), 2939.52 cm-1 (C-H, stretching in aromatic ring), 1643.35 cm-1 (C=C, stretching in alkenes present in aromatic rings), 1066.64 cm-1 (C-O-C, stretching).

A study was carried out to check the stability of anthocyanin pigments extracted from the Indian ... more A study was carried out to check the stability of anthocyanin pigments extracted from the Indian blackberry (Jamun) with respect to different time-temperature (40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 0 C at 5, 10, 15 and 20 min at each temp) combinations. The crude extract dissolved in seven different media containing different concentrations of salt, sugars, agar and corn starch. Significant higher losses in the stability of pigment were noticed with the increase in time and temperature. It was demonstrated that the stability of pigment declined progressively with the gradual increase in the time and temperature of heating. Under the time-temperature paradigm, the additives accorded protection to the stability of anthocyanins.

This study explores customers' awareness of banking services, with a focus on digital offerings, across public and private sector banks in India. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from 420 customers in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Haryana, with Delhi selected as the primary research area. The research employs an exploratory cum descriptive research design and judgment sampling technique to ensure a representative sample. Findings reveal nuanced differences in awareness levels among customers of public and private sector banks, particularly concerning e-banking services. Statistical analyses, including t-tests and ANOVA, shed light on demographic factors influencing awareness levels.

Material and method: As part of a basic Delphi technique, three expert groups of important language lecturers who are well-versed in online learning, curriculum, and pedagogy were used to gather data for this qualitative research.
Conclusion: This study's results are relevant because they provide light on how institutions are handling online delivery of academic courses.

Mainly, we divide advertising appeals into rational and emotional appeals. However, there are various other appeals that enhance an advertisement and make it a lot more attractive. It is known that there is no particular pattern to be followed in order to inculcate appeals in advertisements; this study thus aims at exploring the impact of rational and emotional appeal on individuals and their purchase behavior. Using a focused approach, the research generated certain results when it came to the population and how these appeals affect a particular gender. It was indicated that, for women, the emotional appeal and message in the advertisement had a stronger impact while for men, the rational appeal attracted their purchase intention. Thus, it can be implied that the product, its purpose and target group are all interdependent and thus can influence the advertiser to choose the right type of an appeal accordingly. One can also use a combination of various appeals in order to effectively influence the target market into purchasing a certain product or service.

In project-based learning (PBL), the learners remained the center of the process by engaging, collaborating and connecting himself to the real world. Teachers can explore characteristics of project-based learning and can organize the curriculum, the classroom, technology and the students for the successful 21st century skills. This study investigated the effectiveness of project-based learning (PBL) for teaching science at elementary level. The objectives of the study were application of the project-based learning technique to teach science at elementary level and finding out the effect of project based learning on the academic achievement of the students. There was no significance difference between the mean academic achievement scores of pre-test and post-test after the treatment. The one-group pretest-posttest design was used for the present study. All grade 8 students of the Federal Government high schools of Rawalpindi and Islamabad were the population. A federal school 8th class was randomly selected for the study. This selected group was considered as experimental group. The group was pre and post tested. The experimental group was taught through project-based learning technique by the researcher. After the treatment a post test was conducted and difference of the mean academic achievement score was observed. t test was used to analyze the data and it was recommended to use PBL in classroom particularly in teaching science subjects.

Well-nourished children perform better in school, grow into healthy adults and also give their children a better start in life. Well-nourished women face fewer risks during pregnancy and childbirth, and their children set off on firmer developmental paths, both physically and mentally. In the first 36 months of life, children develop 40 percent of their ability to think, speak, reason and lay the foundation for their social behaviour as adults. Under nutrition is implicated in more than half of all child deaths worldwide. Every minute of every day, somewhere in the world, 21 children die of malnutrition and preventable diseases. Even when it doesn't kill, chronic malnutrition can cause blindness, deformities and brain damage. The number of malnourished children under the age of 5 in the developing world is projected to decline by only 21 % from 166.3 million in 1997 to 131 million in 2020. This means that by 2020, nearly onefourth of all children younger than 5 years will still have malnutrition.

The framers of the Indian Constitution deliberately chose a parliamentary democracy as the suitable framework for a nation as vast and diverse as ours. However, there exists a growing apprehension within India regarding various aspects of our electoral system. The infiltration of criminal elements into our political landscape has been a subject of unanimous concern, highlighted by numerous committees on political and electoral reform. This infiltration manifests in multiple forms, with a particularly alarming aspect being the substantial presence of elected officials facing pending criminal charges. Across Indian states, politicians find themselves entangled in controversies, fostering relationships with criminal elements, thereby enabling these forces to exert undue influence over our democratic institutions. Regrettably, no political party remains untouched by this influence, as leaders often capitalise on a system that favours their interests. The lamentable consequence is that individuals with tainted records and illicit affiliations ascend to positions of power within our legislative bodies, entrusted with the governance of our nation despite their compromised integrity. This criminalization of governance poses a dire threat to India's democratic fabric. This article endeavours to dissect the evolution and underlying causes of criminalization within Indian politics, tracing its origins and its detrimental impact on the democratic process. Moreover, it also underscores the measures taken towards electoral reform and offers insights into their implementation.

Being one of Bangladesh's immediate neighbouring countries, India holds a crucial role in shaping its foreign policy. The geographical proximity, economic engagements, energy exchanges, trade connections, cultural affinities, and historical bonds offer numerous opportunities for fostering a close, friendly, and cooperative alliance between the two nations. Both countries have sufficient potential and incentives to develop a mutually advantageous partnership. However, despite the increasing trade and economic prospects, certain underlying structural challenges impede the realisation of their full potential. This research paper aims to explore the key challenges that limit and hinder the strengthening of Indo-Bangladesh relations in view of India's neighbourhood policy. Our areas of focus will include insurgency, illegal migration, border disputes, trade disputes, as well as war and peace efforts. In each of these aspects, we will examine the various issues on which both sides hold divergent positions or downplay their significance concerning bilateral relations.
