So, I'm one of the senior members of staff here this morning. So I have to set up tills, etc. So naturally no-one thought to tell me where the key to the safe was. Hurray for the key-finding skills of caretakers, is all I'll say. In other news... there are these curious things called "lj-cuts", kids. I'm clutching at straws here, I know, but... Is there a term for being able to get visions from touching objects? You know, as in "we found this knife, and by touching it got a vision of it last being used in the previously unsolved Black Woods murder"? Or, y'know, words to that effect? Musical Heroes MeMe
Blame silentbob9484 for this. The gist is I name 5 music heroes, then name 5 folk to name their heroes... yadda yadda yadda. 1: James Hetfield. The lead singer of the mighty Metallica, and the man most likely to make me wish I was in a band. 2: Axl Rose. The bloke's a twat, apparently, but his band ruled back when they were thin and druggy. 3: Trent Reznor. A lot of NIN's stuff leaves me cold, but a lot of it... damn, it gives me shivers. 4: Jon Shaffer. He's the creative genius behind/bassist bloke from Iced Earth. A lot of folk in the METAAAL community think he's a twat, but I think he rules. 5: Andrew Eldritch. Again, folk in the Goth community quite rightly think he's a twat, but the man responsible for "Temple Of Love" and "Dominion" will always have a special place in my black, black, BLAAACK heart.
