A national laboratory is charged with designing and maintaining weapons to support national secur... more A national laboratory is charged with designing and maintaining weapons to support national security. One of the weapon systems was originally designed and built with an anticipated life span of 10 years. The weapon system has now reached the end of its life span, but instead of being retired, the decision has been made to upgrade the existing system in lieu of designing and building a new weapon system to replace it. To complete the necessary upgrade, the weapon system will have to be disassembled and then reassembled. The detonator is a critical component that will likely suffer a high attrition rate during this process. Due to the anticipated attrition, identical detonators will need to be manufactured to serve as replacements for any damaged units. KMs' main idea is to allow practitioners and developers to master particular discipline of interest through true domain analysis using KMs, via stable patterns and an insightful methodological process. every software development project is unique but still shares some similarities with other projec... more every software development project is unique but still shares some similarities with other projects in terms of domain, database used, programming language employed, etc. Based upon which a lot of work has been done so far to predict project size, efforts required, budget required to build the software project using historical data. But, a very less attention has been given in modeling world to analyze the skills of agile team responsible for software project development. Hence, this paper suggests a simplified agile software project selection model using natural language processing based upon the agile team skills named as "Stair-case Model". After all it is the capability of agile team to deliver the project on time within budget. A strong skilled agile team having relevant experience has brighter chances to deliver the quality project on time and vice-versa.

In this paper we present a Dynamic AO Framework where software components and aspects are first-order entities composed dynamically at runtime according to the architectural information stored in a middleware layer. As an example we describe the coordination aspect, one of the most relevant and useful aspects of our approach, essential to develop open distributed systems. The main functionality of this aspect is to encapsulate the interaction protocol among a set of components.

We would like to architect and develop a UDME, that has the some or all of the following properties: 1. Ease of use, 2. No Need of Expert to run the tool 3. Easy to add new functionality 4. Easy to interface 6. Multiple algorithms 7. Fewer resources 8. Stable 9. Isolation of Application logic 10. Minimum Maintenance Cost The workshop will address the unified data mining engine' challenges, and also debate several issues that are related to the architecture and development of the UDME.

A pattern language consists of a cascade or hierarchy of parts, linked closely together by patter... more A pattern language consists of a cascade or hierarchy of parts, linked closely together by patterns, which solve generically recurring problems that are associated with the parts. Each pattern has a title, and collectively the titles form a language for design [1] Pattern Languages are in life, simply a collection of interrelated patterns [2]. These interrelated patterns are combined in any way and combination to create new environments, where practitioners can solve context-specific problems. Precisely, the concept of pattern languages has invaded over into the software engineering field, to describe prior experiences and the processes that stem from them, in a very simple language, where patterns are tactfully woven as a whole, and can be combined in any manner to solve a particular and complex problem. Yet, this process is still done in an ad-hoc manner and is not straightforward enough, to ease and speed up the software development process. Thus, this workshop is driven forward by three main questions. First, how can we classify, develop, and utilize analysis and design patterns together towards the path of a problem resolution? Second, what is the "behind-the-"language that guides the sewing of patterns together as a whole? And third, how can we overcome and face challenges, other than patterns composition problems (patterns traceability, etc.) that can hinder the development of a system of patterns?

Software analysis patterns are recurring and reusable models. However, there are several deficiencies with analysis patterns. These deficiencies make it difficult to use analysis patterns as efficient reusable artifacts. This paper proposes eight essential properties to evaluate pattern reusability. In addition, the concept of Stability Analysis Patterns is introduced. This paper contrasts stable analysis patterns with some analysis patterns using the proposed properties.
