Dr. Virender Ranga has received his Ph.D. degree in Feburary 25, 2016 from Computer Engineering Department of National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India followed by M.Tech. and B.Tech. degrees. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in Information Technology Department of Delhi Technological University, Delhi since October 26, 2021. Previously , he worked as Assistant Professor with Computer Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, Haryana, India since March 20, 2008 to October, 25 2021. He has published more than 100 research papers in various SCI/SCIE/SCOPUS/ESCI/INSPEC Journals and various reputed International Conferences in the area of Computer Communications and Computer Security. He has also been published two text books with Paging Publishers, New Delhi on Computer Application in Pharmacy. He has been conferred by Young Faculty Award in 2016 for his excellent contributions in the field of Computer Communications. He has been acted as member of various TPCs in various International conferences of repute. He is a member of editorial board of various reputed journals like Journal of Applied Computer Science

It is challenging to run any high-end security protocol(s) on Edge devices. These devices are highly vulnerable toward numerous cyber-attacks. IoT network nodes need peer-to-peer security, which is possible if there exists proper mutual authentication among network devices. A secure session key needs to be established among source and destination nodes before sending the sensitive data. To generate these session keys, a strong cryptosystem is required to share parameters securely over a wireless network. Increased vehicle density on roads has resulted in plethora of challenges for traffic management in urban cities worldwide. Failure in transporting accident victims, critical patients and medical equipment on time has led to loss of human lives which are the results of road congestions. This paper introduces a framework with the fused concept of vehicular ad hoc networks and Internet of things that aims to prioritize emergency vehicles for smooth passage through the road traffic. The proposed system navigates ambulances in finding the nearest possible path to their destination based on real-time traffic information. A simulation of the designed framework has been demonstrated using CupCarbon simulator.

It is affecting around 50 million people of all ages these days. The trait of this disease is recurrent seizures. In the past few decades, the treatments available for seizure control have improved a lot with the advancements in the field of medical science and technology. Electroencephalogram (EEG) is a widely used technique for monitoring the brain activity and widely popular for seizure region detection. It is performed before surgery and also to predict seizure at the time operation which is useful in neuro stimulation device. But in most of cases visual examination is done by neurologist in order to detect and classify patterns of the disease but this requires a lot of pre-domain knowledge and experience. This all in turns put a pressure on neurosurgeons and leads to time wastage and also reduce their accuracy and efficiency. There is a need of some automated systems in arena of information technology like use of neural networks in deep learning which can assist neurologists. In the present paper, a model is proposed to give an accuracy of 98.33% which can be used for development of automated systems. The developed system will significantly help neurologists in their performance.

It is a major problem in all groups of ages. Heart diseases are not easy to predictable. However, with the evolving technology, it is not really difficult to accomplish this task of prediction. The key point here is to evaluate datasets containing patient's health factors and analyze the data using some machine learning techniques after which the results can be used for prediction and prevention of this disease. Machine learning techniques are very popular nowadays due to the capability of their learning from massive amounts of data. Also, it is important to ensure that the patient's data remains private to the third parties. In this research paper, our proposed methodology considers a dataset with each row containing the patient's health monitoring factors. We test few well known machine learning techniques for the prediction of heart attacks. We also present a comparison of used machine learning algorithms over different evaluation metrics.
