Paul serves as the Senior Vice President of Professional Services at SimSpace Corporation helping customers maximize their investment to understand cyber security risk through use of the SimSpace Cyber Range platform. Over the course of 10 years with SimSpace, Paul and his team have delivered numerous use cases to customer spanning from elite cyber security team assessments spanning 24 hours of continuous threat engagement to multi-national exercise support bringing in 8 countries together to execute hands-on defensive cyber operations in response to a common cyber threat. In addition to training and assessment, Paul has overseen robust technical testing of cybersecurity products and capability suites as well as deployment of deception environments to conduct research on emerging threat vectors and named actor groups.
Prior to joining SimSpace, Paul spent over a decade with Booz Allen Hamilton as a consultant to the Department of Defense conducting analyses of cyber operations, and predicting effectiveness and risk associated with employment of cyber capabilities. While in this role, he became intimately familiar with the need to leverage cyber ranges that represent real-world environments when testing offensive and defensive capabilities. This testing has improved leaders’ confidence in their cyber capability deployment decisions.
Paul earned a Masters of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University.
