Fidji Simo (born 5 October 1985) is a French-American businesswoman and senior executive at OpenAI.[1] She was previously the CEO and President of Instacart.[2] Prior to Instacart, she spent a decade at Facebook, where she was a senior executive and led the Facebook App.[3]

She co-founded The Metrodora Institute, a health clinic and research institute, and is currently president of The Metrodora Foundation. She serves on the boards of OpenAI and Shopify.[4]

She graduated from HEC Paris and the University of California, Los Angeles.[5]
