Simple Membership AWeber Integration Addon

You can automatically signup your members to a specific list in your AWeber account. This will allow you to communicate (example: broadcast emails) with your members using AWeber.

Installing the Addon

  1. Click on the “Add New” menu under the plugins interface.
  2. Click on the the “Upload Plugin” button to go to the upload tab.
  3. Upload the swpm-aweber-integration.zip file.
  4. Hit the “Install Now” button and then activate the addon.

Using the AWeber Integration Addon

Step 1 (Go to Settings Interface)

Click on the “AWeber” menu from the simple membership plugin’s admin interface.

Step 2 (Make Connection to AWeber API)

Click on the “Authorize” button to log into your AWeber account and give the addon API access.

Step 3 (Enter the Authorize Code)

Copy the authorization code shown after step 2 then paste that code in the “Authorization code” field.

Then save the settings.

Step 4 (Specify AWeber List)

Now, you can specify your AWeber list by going to the following interface of the plugin:

WP Membership -> Membership Levels

When adding or editing a membership access level, you can specify the Unique List ID in the “AWeber List Name” field.

This document shows how you can get the AWeber List ID from your AWeber account.

Now, when your members register for an account, they will be signed up to the AWeber list you specified in the membership access level.
