The Full Page Protection Addon lets you protect the full post or page (header to footer). This is useful if you don’t want the visitors to see any portion of your protected posts or pages.
This is also useful if you are using a page builder type plugin or theme where the normal content protection isn’t very effective.
Some plugins can add content below the WordPress’s actual post content section. If you are using a plugin like that then this full page protection option will come in handy.

What This Addon Does
Normally, the simple membership plugin’s standard protection hides the actual content of the post or page. The following screenshot shows an example of how the standard protection works.

This addon changes that standard protection behavior and hides the full page. Nothing other than a protection message is visible for a restricted post or page. See an example screenshot below:

Addon Usage
Step 1) Protect Some Posts and Pages
If you have been using the Simple Membership plugin for some time then you have already done this step. If you haven’t protected any of your posts or page then go ahead and apply some protection.
You apply the protection to your posts and pages exactly the same way you protect your normal posts/pages in the main plugin.
The following screenshot shows how you apply protection to your posts and pages.

Step 2) Tell This Addon to Handle the Protection
You can now go to the settings menu of this addon and tell it to handle the protection of your posts and/or pages.

Now, the addon will apply a full page style protection to your restricted posts and pages (according to what you have selected in the settings).
Locking Down/Hiding Some Specific Page URLs from Anonymous Visitors
This addon also has a Page URL lock-down feature that can be enabled to hide some URLs (that are not a standard post or page) from anonymous visitors of the site. This can be useful to hide some categories, tags or archives pages for example.
Note: These URLs have to be handled by WordPress so the addon can hook in there (you can’t use a static file here).
You can enter multiple URLs separated by comma.

Locking Down Multiple URLs using URL Patterns
The “URL Patterns to Lockdown” field can be sued to lockdown multiple URLs using a pattern.

Example, using a value of “/products/” will lockdown all the following URLs:
- https://example.com/products/product-two
- https://example.com/products/product-three
Enabling Auto Redirect on Protected Pages
The “Auto Redirect on Protected Pages” feature is particularly useful when you want to auto-redirect the visitors who encounter restricted content. Instead of displaying a “content is restricted” message, this feature can automatically direct users to a login page or another relevant page, such as a registration or information page.
Navigate to the addon’s settings menu, then scroll to the ‘Redirection Settings’ section to set your preference. Refer to the screenshot below for guidance.

Customizing the Protection Message
If you want to customize the default protection message displayed by the full page protection addon, you can use this option.
