I have so many half finished drafts of posts that I will get around to posting someday. I just have an extremely short attention span right now and they are all pretty long.

I finally realised the purpose of the subscribing vs. access thing on Dreamwidth and subscribed to a bunch of people that I think are cool and post interesting things. It helped me get over the fact that I've always felt weird about adding people on DW because I don't really post there (just fic and icons) so it feels very one sided. I've always preferred to add people on LJ and then comment on entries here because it's my home and I have all the icons and the advantage of a paid account (editing comments ftw!), but there are also very awesome people who are DW only and I want to be able to read their stuff easily as well.

This is a very long winded way of saying that I'm vaguely considering cross posting and I wondered if anyone had any advice and could point me at good resources for working out how to do it. I've considered it before but I've always discarded the idea because it seems like an awful lot of hard work and as far as I can tell it has to be done from DW and I feel weird about LJ not being the first place I go to.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is crossposting far easier than I think? I'm getting more comfortable with having my content in multiple places thanks to AO3 and tumblr but I just don't know.

And if anyone was wondering, I'm silveronthetree as well over there.
