Delicious, how it works, how it doesn't

Very useful post by facetofcathy showing you how to get delicious to display things if you really need it. It's awkward but at least I can see some more of my bookmarks now.

What the hell have they done to my delicious?????

Where are the tracked tags?

Where are my tag bundles? I spent hours creating them and they are just gone?

eta The more I play with it the worse it is.

- Half the links aren't appearing.
- Things separated by a slash i.e. all my pairings tags have disappeared - rather they are still there but they aren't valid links anymore.
- It is only showing me a fracton of the things tagged one page at a time and there is no next page navigation. eta3 e.g. I have approximately 1800 links tagged dcu and I can only access ten of them. This is a problem. /eta3
- It keeps resetting to searching the entire site instead of my bookmarks when I remove a tag from the search bar.
- My tag bundles seem to have been conflated into a tag called has:"tag bundle name" which isn't terribly helpful and I can't find any of the bundles with colons in the name and some of the other bundles seem to be missing (athough I can't quite remember what I named them). eta2 Any bundles with any punctuation e.g. colons and full stops have gone. /eta2
- Looking at the FAQ, the system isn't completely up so they are supposed to be adding features later/bringing back new ones e.g. subscription bundles.
- They've "simplified the navigation" so that you can't actually find anything. e.g. I can't find a list of all my tags.
- There are no different viewing options. I can't see how many tags I have on a single subject, therefore the only way to check whether anything is lost is to export them.
- The only "good" thing is that all my bookmarks and tags appear to still exist. I just can't get to half of them through the site interface.

I finally picked a twitter username, ScatteredSilver, after thinking very hard and trying about a zillion different combinations in the username box.

I've already followed the (four) people whose twitter names I know but come and find me if you are so inclined.

I've been trying to organize my delicious account after I discovered that I had 400 untagged bookmarks, which isn't terribly useful. Now I only have 300 left untagged but it is so much work. Only 20% or my bookmarks are public, even though most of my use of delicious is fandom related. 43% of my bookmarks are dcu related and 848 (!) of those are fanfic.
