tiredFirst off let me say, thank you sweet baby Jesus for 2006 being over! While there were pockets here and there of good times, it was overall a shitty year for me and I'm glad it's over with!
I had a semi-lackluster New Year's at Tether's.
I was still recovering from tequila, worked (and it sucked), and went to town to get ginger sauce and rice, made New Year's calls, and went to Tether's where I had a would be Sea Monster Martini. I say would-be cause Heather didn't buy Malibu, she got spiced rum.
Well, Dawn and her friend Jessica joined us in which Tom and Jessica played Wii Sports and Heather and Dawn played on their Nintendo DS's.
Me, being not the gamer, was bored so I ended up grabbing Heather's VHS of Labyrinth and took my martini in the bedroom and watched it. Heather popped in with much enthusiasm when she heard "The Magic Dance".
Labyrinth is love. Totally.
So I was passing out a lot during the movie from sheer exhaustion so I ended up curling on the couch and wishing Dawn and Jessica would leave so I could sleep on the couch. They were watching clips on Wii/You Tube from old cartoons and stuff. I was dying to sleep.
Woke up at 9:30, watched the rest of Airplane! on comedy central with a totally hung over Heather and departed where I stopped at work for coffee and spent 10 mins trying to pick pasta sauce. Yes. I'm awesome. Popped in Laruku's AWAKE album to listen to "New World" and finished outlining my Makino/Doumyouji FST for Jan. FST Anything Goes Month.
I shall now take a bath in which I will continue reading "The Meaning of Night" as I have coffee, then watch select parts of Hana Yori Dango, and then whatever.
