I burned 130 mp3s, which I NUMBERED MYSELF IN ONE SITTING, onto CD as a data disc since my car cd players plays mp3 discs.
I had things in a specific order.
I go to play it in the car....it is NOT in order.
I come home and pop it in the computer and check it under D-drive. It's IN order there.
So....why the hell are they playing out of order?!!
I burned it using Windows Vista. Clearly that might be where I went wrong. :*(

I keep having increasing difficulty getting up because I keep waking up 3:30-4am all the time and take a long time going back to sleep. It's always hot.

I'm thinking maybe I should switch my eating habits around and eat primarily vegetables and see if that helps at all. I'm wonder if that is also contributing to the sluggishness. Lack of veg in my diet.
Speaking of work: I'm supposed to have my secondary interview\/meeting with an Account Exec for Rewards Network tomorrow, and I have an interview at Dental Associate Friday morning. I do quite hope I get the Rewards Network position. Dramaturgy has VERY little places to pursue an MFA, almost exclusively on the East Coast with the exception of SoCal and Iowa and I have no desire to move to Iowa nor across country at the moment.
And then there's the GRE factor. Gyuhhhhh. I think Amy is re-taking them so perhaps her and I could be study-buddies so I don't flail like hell at them. I HATE standardized tests so so much even though I was always apparently good at them. Not phenominally good, but enough that my teachers and parents pestered me for years about potential.
And then there's also apartment\/room costs to factor in. I will not waste money dorming as most areas in the country it's just cheaper to rent an apartment. I've been sort of hesitant at times at the thought of packing up and moving, but then again, that's what storage is for. And I know Westys pretty well thanks to Bath & Body Works.
So these are the schools I've narrowed down on thus far (well more like, what's available), and if anyone knows anything good\/bad about them, please let me know!
* Columbia University - New York City<\/b> - Pretty much one of the BEST. And also COSTLY. COSTLY. It doesn't require the GRE, just a lot of extra red tape and $50,000 I don't have.
* Viriginia Commonwealth University - Richmond, VA<\/b> -They have an MFA in Pedagogy, not Dramaturgy, but it incorporates Drama with other stuff it looks like in preparation for teaching Drama..which is sort of what I'm looking for. And it'd be 2 hrs from Amy and I could visit her lots. I emailed their department for info.
* Carnegie Mellon - Pittsburgh, PA<\/b> - Apparently HAS a Dramaturgy MFA, emailed them for more info as well.
* Yale - New Haven, CT<\/b> - Surprising, half the cost of Columbia and apparently THE BEST as it's the only place in US to offer a DFA (Doctorate of Fine Arts) in Dramaturgy. And it's an hour away.....which is good\/bad. Does require le GRE, and is also apparently HARD to get into.
I was hoping there was a school in Virginia Beach as an option because Amy is seriously thinking of moving there next year, and it would solve a living situation PRETTY quickly and I guess according to our friend Carla it's less expensive living than here.
And Amy is pretty serious business when it comes to studies and I totally need that environment. Alas. Regent does not have what I am looking for. :sigh:

Today I subbed high school art, and A period watched this horrifically misguided video on design taught by some crazy old bastard.
Then I had to sit through two periods of a video on Dali, twice, the SAME video this teacher I was subbing for showed my senior class when I was in high school.
See, I dislike Surrealist art. I appreciate it for what it was in regards to art history, and its batshit craziness, but as an art movement? Pass, please. Not my cup of tea. I'm a classisist snob I guess, but give me an angry bastard Tuscan (read Michelangelo) over a batshit crazy mustached guy any day.
And if I didn't have this dislike for Dali as is, that quote about intelligence and painting? Nail in the coffin.
Yes yes, he was brilliantly crazy, but I still really hate him and his artwork. But it's important I guess.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun with the F period portfolio class, though Ashley who I used to work with at Big Y was is in, so I sort of talked to her a bit about Anime Boston and Otakon and then suggested stuff for her portrait. They pretty much know what they're doing, but I did help one guy who thought he had all these things wrong, when honestly, it was just the placement of the left eye and the slant of the mouth.
And G period was washing away the Dali taint with a video on Leonardi DaVinci. Luckily this video was old as well, so it predated the stupidly overrated DaVinci Code and free of references.
And it's like 57 degrees today, and sunny and lovely!
