Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Shutter Predict ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Service Provider
Shutter Predict is an interface provided by Brainbot GmbH ("Provider") that enables users to interact with a decentralized keyper set. The Provider does not control the keyper set and assumes no responsibility for its availability, behavior, or long-term operation.

Use of the Service
(a) The Service allows users to submit encrypted predictions on-chain and and rely on the Shutter Keypers (not the provider) to reveal them after a pre-specified time.
(b) The Service does not offer incentives, rewards, or conditional payouts for predictions.
(c) The Service is operated as a frontend only, with no centralized storage of user-generated content.

Fees and Transactions
(a) A transaction fee may be applied when users commit predictions on-chain.
(b) Fees are collected by the decentralized keyper set, not by the Provider.
(c) The Provider does not act as a custodian of user funds or facilitate any monetary transactions beyond frontend access.

Data Handling and Privacy
(a) The Provider does not process, store, or access prediction data beyond what is necessary for frontend functionality.
(b) Once predictions are revealed on-chain, they become publicly visible and are beyond the Provider’s control.
(c) The Service does not collect personal data beyond what is required for essential functionality.

User Responsibilities
(a) Users must ensure that submitted predictions comply with applicable laws.
(b) Users must not submit illegal, defamatory, or otherwise harmful content.
(c) The Provider reserves the right to suspend access for users.

Disclaimers
(a) The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
(b) The Provider is not liable for losses or damages arising from the use of the Service.
(c) Use of this frontend does not imply any right to ongoing access or an obligation by the Provider to maintain its availability.
(d) Users interact with the Service at their own risk.

Amendments
The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles.

This dapp allows you to threshold-encrypt your predictions, commit them on-chain on Gnosis Chain, and have the Shutter keypers generate the decryption key for them when the time comes.
