Pre-Order #
Set up pre-orders in your Woo store so customers can order products before they’re available. You can automatically or manually release and fill orders when you’re ready, and let the extension handle the rest!
The Pre-Order module has 4 different tabs. General, Settings, Notifications, Style.
1. General #
Select the General tab of the Pre-Order module.
1.1 Enable Pre-Order?: Activate the pre-order module. This is mandatory.

1.3 Pre-Order Closed Text: Enter the message you want to show when pre-orders are no longer available. The product will not automatically convert to regular availability.
1.4 Checkout ‘Place Order’ Button Label: Specify the text you want to display on the ‘Place Order’ button during checkout.
1.5 General Availability Message (with availability date): Customize the message you want to show the customers for pre-ordered items. Use the {availability_date} placeholder to automatically insert the expected availability date into the message.
1.6 General Availability Message (if no availability date): Customize the message you want to display for pre-ordered items when an availability date is not provided.

Now, click on the “Save Changes” button to save the update.
2. Settings #
Click on the Settings tab of the Pre-Order module.
2.1 Set Pre-Order Limit: You can set the maximum quantity of items a customer can pre-order. Leave the field blank for unlimited pre-orders. This setting can be adjusted individually on the product edit page for more accurate control.
2.2 Define Order Status for Pre-Order Items: Select the appropriate status for orders that include pre-order products. You have two options: “Default Order Status” or “Custom Pre-ordered Status” for more specific tracking of pre-order items.

2.3 Display Pre-Order Product Pricing: Choose how the pricing for pre-order products will be shown to users. You have two options: “Hide the regular price (only show the pre-order price)” or “Show the regular price crossed out (with the pre-order price shown next to it).”
2.4 Auto-Convert to Standard Product: You can enable this option to automatically convert pre-order products to standard products when the availability date is reached. This setting will automatically adjust on the product edit page.
2.5 Specify Eligible Users for Pre-Ordering: Determine which user groups will get access to place pre-orders. You have two options: “Only users with a specific role” or “All users”.
- Select User Roles: Choose which user roles will get permission to place pre-orders.
2.6 Hide Pre-Order Pricing for Guest Users: Enable this option to hide the pre-order price from users who are not logged in. If you enable this option, you will get another setting “Custom Price Text for Guest User”. Enter custom text that will show instead of product price. Leave blank to hide the price entirely.

2.7 Restrict Mixing of Product Types in Cart: Activate this setting to prevent pre-order products and regular products from mixing up in the same shopping cart.
2.8 Limit Multiple Pre-Order Items in Cart: Enable this option to restrict users from adding more than one pre-order item to their cart at a time. This ensures customers can only pre-order one product per transaction, preventing bulk pre-orders.

2.9 Enable Pre-Order Countdown Timer: Toggle this setting to activate or deactivate the countdown timer for pre-order products. When enabled, a countdown timer will be visible to inform customers of the time remaining until the pre-order period ends or the product becomes available.
Now, click on the “Save Changes” button to save the update.
