I was taking some pictures of Lou today for my new blog. Sounds simple right, nope. I got tiered of all the bars in the photos so I pulled out the hose to get some bathing pictures while the cage door was open, for better photos.

It went well. Lou loves water and would probably make a better fish then a bird to be quite honest. The photo shoot was just peachy until I tried to close the cage door and it...FELL OFF!!!

The temp has been dropping pretty hard at night here so we have been moving birds in at night. This is a unique situation right now because trying to move Lou's cage is a 2 person job and I cant get near it if I wish to have 10 fingers attached to my body.

So, since it's dark and dark induces sleep "we" have just been bringing him inside and putting him on the bird stand. (By "we" I mean "Bear") Well right now the sun is up, and Bear is asleep, and to be sure that Lou didn't wander around the bird room and make meals of all the yummy smaller birds I very carefully, with the use of kitchen tongs and a spare bird perch, so I could keep my distance, wheeled Lou out of the room and into the kitchen.

Now I am waiting for him to realize he can get down and come after me so I have a reason to wake Bear up to take him out side. It's only 45 degrees out there so I just cant bring myself to banish him back outside with out cause.

Until then, I have to keep my eyes on him, cause I KNOW he is keeping his on me.
