The Challenge: A story that explores the 'what-if' if the alternate SG1 team succeeding in reaching Atlantis and attempting to get the ZPM.

The Challenge: In Last Man, old Rodney gave us the Alternate Reality outcome for everyone but Alternate Reality John, because the John in his reality was bounced 40,000 years into the future and was never seen again by that Rodney. Presumably, that John was not rescued by a Rodney hologram, because if he had been then that reality wouldn't have happened and there wouldn't have been a holo-Rodney to rescue the John that does return to the present. So, in order for John to be saved by holo-Rodney, there has to be a John that wasn't; what happened to that John?

The Rules: Initially story needs to be complete when posted, though additional stories in the same universe are definitely welcome. Otherwise no length requirements. I won't exclude character death (though I might not read it myself), but please try to be more creative than simply, 'he was trapped without supplies and died of hunger and thirst.'
