So when I was was going through my LJ and cleaning up the tags I came across a lot of music that I listened to back in the olden days of QaF love. And none spoke to me more than this one, which I think is still just a fantastic song, and SO FITTING for Brian and Justin.

Busy busy busy. I've barely had time to be online lately, but on the plus side I've got almost everything accomplished that I need to do before I GO TO NEW YORK TO MEET JUSTIN LONG IN EIGHT DAYS YEEEE. *breath* The only thing left is to get my US currency. And buy sneakers. And possibly capris, if the budget allows it. And actually do some what-are-we-going-to-do-while-there planning. OH GOD I'M NOT NEARLY DONE. *hyperventilates*

Meaaanwhile, I'm now down to only having one fic deadline a week, so I'm ready to start working on the QaF fic that brianswalk won from me at the rainbow_support auction. But it's been a while since I've hung out with Brian and Justin, so I NEED YOUR HELP, OH WISE AND AWESOME FLISTIES. brianswalk has specified that she'd prefer Post Season Five, but other than that I am up for ideas. So is there anything any of you would like to suggest? Random plot points, word lists, themes, anything? I can't guarantee if or what I'll use, but something to get the creative juices flowing would be cool.

In other news: still addicted to Norman Reedus. Oh yes.

Day 30 - Do you have any QaF related items?

Let's see. I have all five seasons on DVD, plus I also have Season One on VHS. I have a very very battered QaF mousepad. I have The Book. In regard to the actors, I saw Randy in the Berkshires a few times and in New York once and have his autograph on a few playbills and such -- which is quite the feat since I never actually SPOKE to Randy, I just quivered and bounced while other people on my awesome flist did the deed. I saw Gale in his play in NYC and got his autograph in a similar fashion! ... I think that's it.

ETA: Erm, I have no idea how I forgot this, but I also have a giant poster that's hanging *directly above my computer*. LOL And I have a cowry shell bracelet that was a gift from a friend. And some QaF italian charms. ... Okay, I think that's really it.

ETA #2: OMG TOO FUNNY, I keep reading other people's responses and being reminded of MORE STUFF I have. So yeah, I have some screeners (I was a spoiler virgin but Canada was behind the States on airings, and I was lucky enough to get them so I could still watch the show at the same time as everyone else, LOL) and I have a calendar. *thinks very very hard* ... Okay, I think this is REALLY it.

ETA #3, 6.5 months later, LOL! AND the Rage comic, a Xmas gift from my lovely niece. THERE. DONE. *dusts hands*

And if you could own one item from the sets, what would it be?

OMG. BRIAN'S LIME. *still wants* LOL

Day 29 - Your favorite QaF fanart (icon, wallpaper etc)

Well, I'm gonna interpret this as favourite fanartIST, and I'm going with the lovely raelala. I always really liked her style, very crisp and clean. And to my memory at least, a lot of people who were disenchanted with the show stopped making icons in the later seasons -- my memory might be faulty, but that's the way I remember it -- and I particularly fell in love with a whole bunch of icons that she did for Season Five. The one on this post is one of them.

I do not think of QaF in terms of, ya know, life lessons. Except maybe "always use a condom", heh.

Sweeeeeeeeeet zombie jesus, NO ONE can possibly beat "This Will Be Our Year" by bea_nonymous. She uses some gorgeous matching clips and absolutely the most PERFECT song to show the progression of Brian and Justin's relationship through the years, and how they grew and changed and OMG THEY HAVE ONLY JUST BEGUN, OKAY. Years have gone by and this vid still makes me a little giddy.
