Final Blogtober post is the Wrap Up. (I didn't post yesterday as I don't have internet on Wednesdays..) Anyhoo, I'd say the last half of the month was quite successful. Though I got a very late start I did manage to keep on track with checking in, blog-wise, once a day. I shared a little more about what is going on in my personal life (Hi, Mr. Squirrel) and I hopefully formed a new habit.

I have a one of these lists, called "26 Days of Fandom", that I saved from somewhere, so I think I might continue daily posts with that one in November.

Now I have to rush off to deal with the ghouls at work. Happy Hallowe'en, everyone!

Happy Hallowe'en! How is it already October 31st? Time seems to fly. It's pouring rain here, so I imagine all the little ghouls on the street got soaked out there, trying to get their candy. Poor kids. It's always either freezing cold and raining on Hallowe'en night.

I've been sick with a cold that turned feverish for the last little while, so I feel like I'm out of the loop a little bit. Been reading my flist but not commenting very much. Back on track in November, now that I'm feeling well again. This was my first good days sleep in... geez, I don't know HOW long. It felt nice. Still tired, but hopefully I can catch up this weekend. :)

I've also been slacking in the writing department. My solution to this: JOIN MORE WRITING THINGS. JOIN ALL THE WRITING THIIIIINGS. Woot Woot! So I signed up for mini_wrimo with a goal of 900 words a day, and I also signed up for smallfandombang for the third year in a row. I have NO idea what I'm going to write for that, but something will come to me, I'm sure. Aaaaaaaaaand I believe smallfandomfest opens for prompting tomorrow, wheeee. C'mon muse and be good to me!

Well, my Hallowe'en night started with watching all the adorable little kids in my neighbourhood as they went trick or treating (and also, being very pleased to see a resurgence of kids going door-to-door and adults going all out to entertain them). My night ended in the emergency room, coz my mom got very ill and had to be sent to hospital by ambulance. She's FINE now (and of course the doctors have no freakin' clue why she suddenly started spasming - if that's a word - and being in agonizing pain) and she's back at the nursing home, but it was a freaky and scary night.

I finally made it into work at 2am. I'm very very tired and burnt out, but it's NOVEMBER 1st which means it's NANO TIME! So now I'm off to have a nice hot bath and get into my snuggly bathrobe and then I'm gonna start writing.
