It has been initially applied for diverse purposes, including in community development, therapeutic benefits, and as an aid in teaching and learning. DST has recently been broadly used on social media platforms for marketing, running campaigns, journalism, and much more. However, no comprehensive systematic or thematic review of DST in social media has been conducted. Accordingly, this paper aims to provide a thematic review of DST in social media. The thematic review was carried out on 50 articles published from 2016 to 2021. These 50 discrete studies were selected because they met the inclusion criteria based on the research question of this review. The thematic review used ATLAS.ti as a tool to assist the review process. The results indicated that DST in social media was appropriate for marketing, including branding and advertising. And also a parallel increase can be observed in some other technological sectors such as network communication, bandwidth, storage, capacity. These remarkable trends make us to predict that in future computer will become considerably smaller, cheaper and more pervasive. These result a creation of small things that can access the internet in order to optimize their intended purpose. It gives birth to new technology trend called "Ubiquitous computing". Ubiquitous computing is an emerging technology that brings new dimensions to distributed computing. It uses a wide variety of smart, ubiquitous devices throughout an individual's working and living environment. When it comes to ubiquitous computing, mobile objects and mobile agents are forerunners. Mobile agents are considered a very interesting and emerging technology to develop applications for mobile and distributed computing. Since they present a combination of unique features, such as their autonomy and capability to move to remote computers to process data there and save remote communications, they can be widely used in ubiquitous computing. Many mobile agent platforms have been developed since the late nineties. In this millennium era they are now influenced in many aspects of technology such as localization of technology, internet connection, voice recognition etc. This literature review focuses on Mobile agent platforms in ubiquitous computing applications and systems.

This has created potentially a greater impact in teaching-learning practices. Virtual Learning Environment, a web based application has emerged as an essential, yet powerful tool in the higher education system of Sri Lanka in the recent days. This platform has evolved from Moodle/LMS in order to assist teachers and students to cope up to the global standards. This paper has assessed the opinions of students under various perspectives in incorporating the Virtual Learning Environment into their traditional mode of studies in the context of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka. The study found that the students are strongly positive towards the use of VLE to undertake their studies than the traditional method of teaching-learning process. Further, this paper also suggested that the essential measures are to be taken in order to increase the active participation of VLE since it is highly beneficial to both the parties involved.

Among the used applications, "Athan" is one of the wellknown apps used by 5 million Muslims globally. A study to identify the opinion and perception of the users is essential in many aspects. Hence this paper identifies the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of the "Athan" mobile app. A quantitative survey has been administered through the lens of the Technology Acceptance Model as the framework for the study. The study reveals that the "Athan" app users are positive towards the usefulness of the application, and it has not been impacted by the respondents' sociodemographic diversity.

The performance of websites to cater to the increased number of concurrent users is inevitable to manage the growing online business needs. The architecture of the company's website should be robust enough to manage the expected traffic on heavy load. The inability to support the growing customer needs would return frustration that leads to heavy business loss. Therefore, it is mandate for e-commerce websites to perform load testing to assess the robustness of their architecture to support scalability. This study features the assessment of e-commerce websites for its performance based on throughput, availability and response time. The study utilizes Apache JMeter to perform load testing on selected five ecommerce websites in Thailand by emulating customer behaviors at heavy load levels. The paper proposes a methodology that could help future testing practitioners and researchers to perform load testing efficiently.

Automation of software processes and the use of automated tools have gained popularity in the recent past. Thus, the use of automated tools for software testing in ensuring the quality of a software system or application has also found a reach in recent times. Although the importance of these tools has been studied by various researchers in the field, a lack of knowledge on the selection of tools among the practitioners is a challenge. It is because of the availability of an abundant number of tools and the absence of clarity about the tools. Hence this study primarily focuses on investigating the automated tools while trying to identify the better tools for security testing of applications or systems. For this purpose, five e-commerce applications that are popular in Malaysia have been chosen. Also, five tools identified after a thorough study on the tools available for executing automated testing have been used to identify the best tool out of the chosen ones. Although the research work involves studying e-commerce applications available in Malaysia, this research at no instance intends to analyse the applications, rather the tools only.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) knowledge is now considered to be a vital skill for teachers at all levels, in addition to their knowledge of their subject. Recently, there has been a lot of attention paid to digital competence and ICT literacy because it is seen as a way to improve society’s level of knowledge and, in turn, the country’s knowledge index. When teachers evaluate their own digital competence, they need to think outside of the box and look at things as to how they can get information on the internet, use digital devices and apps, share content on the internet with other people, and how well they can manage information using different digital sources. In light of this, this preliminary study looks into what extent school teachers in the Nintavur division are digitally competent and how well they use ICT. This study employed...
