Ok, I am evil. I dropped out. It's always a joy to see that the pool is green and full of floating helicopter pod seeds. I should be thankful that the bird shit has disintegrated, so we don't see it floating in there. The other night I dreamt that I happily jumped into this green, swampy mess of melted bird dung for a swim. Huh? I think we need to dump a lot<\/i> of chemicals in it before I will even think about venturing in for a swim.
My back is seriously killing me today. Everything I do makes it spasm like crazy. It must be the damp weather wreaking havoc with my lumbar 4.<\/sup> If it's not one thing it's another...
Today we go looking at paint chips and televisions. Thursday we start working on home improvements, which will include painting the dining room, living room and bathroom. We will also be replacing the sink, toilet and tub in the main bathroom, as well as re-tiling the floor. The kitchen will get new countertops, a new cooker hood and new lighting fixtures. It's all a matter of making sure the money we have to make the changes is spread out and used where it is most needed. I am really quite excited, even though it is going to be very time consuming. I think the last time my eyes did this I had bifocals as well.
We totally forgot Bug's birthday on May 1st, so last night both Bug and Charles Barkley got to share a tub of Frosty Paws, and during the Survivor finale on Sunday Bug will get his birthday cupcake. How could I have forgotten?? So I vanish from the face of Live journal, only to have the dear leianora give me a well-deserved nudge. I can take a hint! I actually feel honoured that someone felt the need to nudge me. Oh, the warm fuzzzzies!
So then, what can I say for myself? I suppose I have been a bit occupied with life and maintaining the archive. For those who do not know, I am co-owner\/conspirator for the Harry\/Draco slash archive The Hex Files. It's quite a demanding thing, and I am not even doing the lion's share of validating. It's the coding bits that tend to drive me insane.
