What is this?
SecureDNS is a DNSSEC‑signed demo domain.
It shows how branded resolver aliases can be cryptographically verified,
proving that DNS answers haven’t been tampered with.
This page exists so if you found securedns.co.uk,
you know it’s part of a deliberate security suite, not a parked domain.
Try it yourself
Run these commands to see DNSSEC in action through our resolver alias:
# Windows PowerShell
Resolve-DnsName -Name securedns.co.uk -Type A -Server dns.securenode.co.uk -DnssecOk
# macOS / Linux
dig @dns.securenode.co.uk securedns.co.uk A +dnssec
Look for the RRSIG section in the output, that’s the DNSSEC signature proving authenticity.
You can also fetch the DNSKEY records:
Resolve-DnsName -Name securedns.co.uk -Type DNSKEY -Server dns.securenode.co.uk
Why it matters
- DNSSEC adds a cryptographic chain of trust from the root → TLD → your domain.
- RRSIG proves the record was signed by the zone.
- DNSKEY is the public key used to verify those signatures.
Together, they demonstrate how you can build a zero‑cost, enterprise‑ready resolver alias under your own brand.
