1 year, 5 months - Frostpunk 2 reviewed by Dan Stapleton on PC.Building up multiple colonies, researching technologies, and passing laws in Frostpunk 2 is quite the act of plate-spinning. Just about anything you do is bound to make one of your city’s factions angry at you, and a powerful storm can literally and figuratively freeze your whole economy. This is a city-building sequel that might have lost some of the intimacy of the original by thinking bigger, but what it’s gained through its ambitious philosophy of reinvention rather than iteration means you can play it immediately after the original and not feel like you’ve done most of this before.

1 year, 11 months - Frostpunk 2 is a city-building post-apocalyptic strategy survival game developed by 11 Bit Studios. Players will set out to make the best out of an Earth ravaged by an apocalypse for 30 years. Engage with delicate and complex social dilemmas equipped with new gameplay mechanics for players to enjoy. Frostpunk 2 is launching on July 25 for PC and PC Game Pass with a release on Xbox Series S|X, Xbox Game Pass, and PlayStation 5 at a later date. Players who pre-order gain access to the seven-day Sandbox Mode beta in April alongside access to the game's Story Mode 72 hours before the official release.

2 years, 8 months - Frostpunk 2 is a survival city-builder picking up thirty years after the original events of the original Frostpunk. Progress on The City has accelerated thanks to the nature of its placement around the Generator giving life through its warmth. However, the world has changed offering a clean slate and a new beginning to this post-apocalyptic story. Alongside the world, the people within it have changed as well and human nature will come into play, driven by ambition that could spiral The City into the fall. Frostpunk 2 is launching in 2024 for PC.
