Rosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title\">Intercity Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Petaluma is served by three intercity routes operated by Sonoma County Transit.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sctransit.com\/routes\/route-40\/\" data-type=\"route\" data-id=\"690\">Route 40<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;operates on weekdays between the Petaluma Transit Mall (Petaluma SMART station) and the Sonoma Plaza. &nbsp;Route 40 provides direct connections with the Route 30 (at the Sonoma Plaza) for travel to Sonoma Valley communities. &nbsp;Route 40 operates on weekdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Routes 44 &amp; 48 provide service between Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Cotati and Santa Rosa.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sctransit.com\/routes\/route-44\/\" data-type=\"route\" data-id=\"693\">Route 44<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;connects Petaluma with Sonoma State University.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sctransit.com\/routes\/route-48\/\" data-type=\"route\" data-id=\"694\">Route 48<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>provides a connection to downtown Cotati. &nbsp;Both routes serve downtown Rohnert Park (Commerce Blvd. &amp; Rohnert Park Expressway), the Graton Resort, South Santa Rosa Avenue, downtown Santa Rosa, SRJC, the County Center and Coddingtown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fares on routes 40, 44 &amp; 48 are zone-based and vary between $1.50 &amp; $3.00 for adults and $0.75 to $1.50 for seniors.
