About the venue

Clarion Hotel The Hub is the biggest conference hotel in Norway. With 810 rooms and 29 conference venues, it has the capacity to host more than 3500 people at the same time. 

With its location at Jernbanetorget, Clarion the Hub is in the middle of it all at the heart of Oslo. With shopping centers, restaurants and cultural venues close by, you have the perfect spot to enjoy your time in Oslo.

Sustainability

Clarion Hotel The Hub is one of Scandinavia’s largest hotels and is committed to leading the way in sustainability. The hotel is ISO 14001 and BREEAM certified and is now in the process of becoming Nordic Swan Ecolabel certified, with approval expected in October. The goal is to be climate neutral in its own operations by 2030 without relying on climate compensation.

The hotel has installed solar panels on the rooftop, grows herbs, vegetables and microgreens in its own GrowHub, and keeps bees that produce honey for the breakfast buffet. Food waste is reduced through systems like eSmiley and Too Good To Go, and the hotel is plastic free. Cleaning is done with ozonated water instead of chemicals, reducing both emissions and employee exposure.

On the social side, Clarion Hotel The Hub supports inclusion and diversity and collaborates with initiatives such as Guttas Campus, Gateteam Oslo and the Lonely Christmas Tree project.

FROM OSLO AIRPORT (GARDERMOEN):

  • Flytoget (Airport Express Train): Departs every ~15 minutes, takes about 22 minutes to Oslo Central Station.
  • Vy Regional/Commuter Train: Runs roughly every 20–30 minutes, around 23 minutes journey time.
  • Flybussen (Airport Express Coach): Leaves hourly for Jernbanetorget, journey takes approximately 1 hour 9 minutes.
  • Taxi: Approximately 37 minutes driving, costing around NOK 1,100–1,300.
