Each SC Conference brings together HPC professionals and students of all nationalities, ethnicities, genders, and technical levels with the goal of sparking new conversations, new connections, and new ideas.
Making all attendees feel welcome is important to SC. Through the programs and services that we provide for attendees and our efforts to educate the HPC community on the benefits of a heterogeneous workforce, we all make progress toward the goal of improved science and research.
Contact the Community Engagement & Support Committee if you have questions regarding SC’s effort to increase representation of everyone in the HPC community and improve the attendee experience.

CommUNITY@SC25 is a program whose mission is to strengthen the HPC community in the region where the annual SC Conference is held. It prepares participants for the technology jobs of the future through education, mentorship, and experience as members of the SCinet Committee.
We believe that innovation thrives when people with different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences come together. Individuals in the St. Louis region, including those who can add a new perspective, are encouraged to apply.
Your ideas, talents, and contributions are valuable, and we are committed to creating an environment where everyone has an opportunity to grow and succeed.
CommUNITY@SC25 is brought to you by the CommUNITY Computing Initiative, a joint effort between the Community Engagement & Support and SCinet committees.

Family and work are intertwined components of life, and sharing our professional pursuits and passions with our children is an invaluable way of sowing inspiration in the minds of the next generation. We believe that enabling individuals with families to more easily attend SC will result in a positive outcome for all.
We are committed to making the conference as family-friendly as possible, while maintaining the high-quality experience attendees have always enjoyed and ensuring the safety of all participants.
In order to provide clarity on where and when children may participate, SC has established a policy on children’s presence at conference events.
