What happens during a Savvy session?

Each session runs about 25 minutes and follows a steady routine. Your child moves through a warm-up, guided practice, a new skill, and a win to finish on. Short, frequent sessions give young learners more contact with the curriculum and shorter gaps between practice.

How often your child meets depends on the plan you choose, from two to four days a week. Our 4-Day Group plan runs on a set Monday through Thursday schedule. Private 1:1 plans are scheduled on the weekdays that work for your family. Either way, the steady weekly rhythm makes learning a predictable part of your week.

What matters most is meeting consistently. Frequency is really about how much access your child gets to the curriculum, and research from the Stanford National Student Support Accelerator finds that meeting at least a few times a week makes a meaningful difference compared with once-weekly help. Private 1:1 plans let you choose two, three, or four days a week, and our Group plan meets four. Pick the rhythm your family can keep up with week after week, since steady practice is what helps skills stick.

You will get updates from your child’s tutor showing what they practiced, what is clicking, and what comes next. You can also open your parent dashboard anytime to see session history and scheduling.

Savvy tutors have experience with learners who do best with clear routines, short sessions, and step-by-step guidance, which is how every Savvy lesson is built. Savvy is not clinical intervention, and it works well alongside any specialized services your child already receives.

Yes. You can choose private 1:1 sessions or a small group of up to four students at similar levels. Both formats are available for reading and math. Group meets four days a week, and private 1:1 plans meet two, three, or four days a week, so you can match the frequency to your family.

In a small group, your child learns alongside up to three other students at a similar level, four days a week, for $179 a month. In a private 1:1 plan, your child works one-on-one with their tutor, and you choose two, three, or four days a week. Both use the same comprehensive curriculum and the same trained tutors.

The curriculum reviews each concept across the following weeks of lessons, so a missed session does not mean missed learning. Each lesson builds on the last while leaving room for life to happen. Missed sessions are not refunded or made up, so the schedule stays predictable.

How do we begin?
Start with a free learning assessment. We’ll learn about your child, answer questions, and help you schedule your free class.

You and your child meet a Savvy tutor for a real session. The tutor gets to know how your child learns and what they are working toward. It is friendly and low-pressure, and it gives you a clear feel for how Savvy works before you decide anything.

A laptop, computer, or tablet with a camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection. No special software or downloads required.

Each plan is built around how many days a week your child meets. Group is our shared-session plan at $179 a month and meets four days a week. Private 1:1 plans give your child one-on-one time with their tutor, and you choose the frequency. Private plans are $195 for two days, $295 for three days, and $395 for four days a week. Every plan is month to month with no commitment, and you can cancel anytime with no fees.

Many parents first notice an emotional shift, such as more confidence or smoother learning. The Learner Dashboard reflects your child’s progress, and their tutor sends updates so you know what’s improving and what’s next.

After your free trial, you will get a recap email covering what your child worked on, along with a link to explore plans and pricing. You decide whether to enroll. No pressure, and no charge unless you choose to continue.

Our team will help you find a new time that fits. You can also pause your subscription anytime, from one week up to six months, for vacations, illness, or any change in routine.

How much screen time does Savvy involve?

Sessions are intentionally short at about 25 minutes, sized for how young children focus.

Tutors use visuals, movement breaks, predictable routines, and steady encouragement. Because your child works with the same tutor each session, comfort grows quickly and so does focus.

Yes, and many families come to Savvy for exactly this. Short sessions, steady pacing, and a familiar tutor help children stay with the lesson without feeling overwhelmed.

Yes. We share simple at-home activities that build on what your child is learning, using our worksheets or things you already have, with no extra screen time.

How does billing work?

All plans bill monthly on the same date each month, and your next billing date is always visible in your dashboard. You can turn off renewal anytime.

Yes. You can cancel anytime with no fees, and your child keeps access through the end of your billing period. You can also pause anytime, from one week up to six months, with at least one day’s notice. If you do not resume within six months, the subscription cancels automatically and any unused sessions are released.

Yes. Because every plan is month to month, you are never locked in. You can switch plans in your dashboard, or our team can help, and the change takes effect at the end of your next billing cycle. We will do our best to keep your child with the same tutor, though we cannot guarantee it.

You can manage billing, renewal settings, and account information in your dashboard. Our team is always available if you need help.

It depends on your plan. Plans range from two to four sessions a week, so a 2-Day plan is two sessions a week, a 3-Day plan is three, and a 4-Day plan is four.

Savvy keeps pricing simple with one flat monthly rate per plan, and there are no long-term contracts or term-payment discounts. That said, plans with more days a week do work out to less per session, since the monthly price does not rise in step with the days. Our Group plan offers the lowest cost per session, and among private plans, the cost per session goes down as you add days.

Yes. A discount applies when more than one child enrolls. Our team can walk you through it.

Yes. Savvy is an approved vendor in Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Every plan includes live sessions with a dedicated tutor on your plan’s weekly schedule, progress updates, parent support, and access to your dashboard.
