Beginning of year 2022–23 grade equivalent was 4.4. End of year was 4.6. Not much growth in a whole year. Summer 23 is when we started Savvy. Beginning of year 2023–24 grade equivalent is 6.3. Sessions are 25 minutes, paced for how K–6 learners focus. Tutors keep things interactive: conversation, real practice, games, and quick movement breaks when needed. Your child is doing the work, not watching a screen.
That depends on the plan you pick. 1:1 plans run two, three, or four days a week. The Group plan meets four days a week. Sessions are scheduled at the same time each week so it becomes a steady part of the family routine.
On average, 4 sessions a week works out to about 16 sessions a month. 2 days a week is about 8. 3 days a week is about 12. The exact number changes month to month depending on the calendar.
Families regularly notice changes in their child’s confidence and skills within the first several weeks of consistent sessions. Reading fluency, willingness to try, calmer study time. These tend to show up first. Bigger shifts in test scores or grade level usually take longer and depend on where your child is starting from.
Many of the children we serve have learning differences. Private 1:1 sessions give the tutor room to adjust pacing, build in breaks, and use approaches that work for how your child learns. Savvy is not a clinical intervention, but it works alongside the support your child may already have.
Match matters. If your child doesn’t connect with their tutor, we’ll rematch you at no cost. We want this to work.
If you decide Savvy is the right fit, you pick a plan and sessions continue. If it’s not the right fit, take no action and you won’t be charged. Your subscription only begins when you choose a plan.
